BJP's West Delhi Candidate Kamaljeet Sehrawat on Development, Kejriwal, Election Campaign and more!

Mrs. Kamaljit Sehrawat is a prominent figure within the Bharatiya Janata Party, representing the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. In 2017, she contested and won the Municipal Corporation elections from Ward Dwarka-B, securing the highest number of votes in Delhi. Subsequently, she was elected as the Mayor in her first year and later appointed as the Leader of the House for the next two terms, showcasing her efficient leadership skills. Her work during this period earned her recognition, including an award from the President. She worked towards fulfilling the promises made during her tenure, even representing the corporation at the United Nations on two occasions.
Born in Uttam Nagar, Mrs. Sehrawat has a strong academic background with qualifications including a B.Com (Hons.), M.Com, PGDCA, and LLB. She began her professional journey as a commerce teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya, later serving as the Director at Genius Commercial & Education Institute Pvt. Ltd.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Sehrawat has been a dedicated and hardworking member of the BJP, undertaking various responsibilities within the party. She assumed the role of BJP District Vice President of Najafgarh District in 2007 and contested the MLA election from Matiala Vidhan Sabha constituency in 2008. From 2009 to 2014, she served as the Secretary of BJP Delhi Pradesh. She ascended to the Presidency of the BJP Delhi Mahila Morcha from 2014 to 2016. Presently, she holds the position of General Secretary of Delhi State and actively participates in BJP's electoral campaigns in other states as well.
She is currently the BJP candidate from the West Delhi constituency, highlighting her importance for the party.
