You'd think they'd take as much time breaking out of their same generic "we're outcasts, you're not alone" message as they take refining their live show. But I guess not, I guess to keep the cringy 13-year-old fanbase satisfied, he can't go full Dustin Kensrue and write something more poetic even while keeping the message as static as before.

I'm a musician and I have seen a lot of bands.Everytime we saw BVB their sound sounds like shit..all distorted and you can't distinquish their instruments individually because it all blahs in to itself.I thought why would a band with such qualified guitarists allow their live sound to be so bad? Because their guitars aren't individually amplified and everything is going through the venues sound system.Look at the stage...there are no amps that Jinx and Jake are playing through...I'm a bass player and I watched Ashley closely and he didn't even fake it well.He would spend more time waving than he does playing.Yeah I guess I'm hating on them but I really do like their music but it's disappointing to see a band "Nilly Vanilly" their show for the sake of pretending a flawless performance.And that is why their peers have no respect for them.
Say what you want about there fans. But they are seriously some talented guys. I took my then girlfriend to there show once. Because I was a fan also. And they were awesome live. Super nice guys.

Because Ashley was only a prop.Watch him..especially in the parts where the bass lines are intense....He isn't playing.I would bet that Jake lays all the bass lines down on the bump track he pretends he's playing. Watch him closely it becomes pretty obvious.
@@dansdoves3650 i am really big bvb fan,but i have to be honest...most of bvb fans are not really into music and surely not many of them are musicians,so nobody even knows how a bass should sound there and how ashley should play. but i "researched" some live videos and watched ashley,i can tell that he is not playing,it's too obvious,what's even worse, he probably did not even wrote it,jake did it,and bass is so simple in bvb. dont ask me "if he is not playing,why they dont kick him?" ..i dont know but it could be that he was threatening them,because 2009 he persuaded andy to give him 50% of the band,and he still owns 50% of the band to this day. ashley is big egoist.

Great band but Ashley wasn't even a good "poser" and that is what he was hired on to be.Not a player but a pretty face because as you mentioned a lot of their fans are there for the visual and not to hear them. Andy is pretty and has a incredible presense on stage. Such a shame when it becomes more "show" and bands over enhance their performances with "click tracks" etc in order to provide a perfect presentation every time. Back when I was trying to be part of a working band,syncing a show would get you destroyed if the audience caught on but now it is so common. I feel a band that does that has no integrity but thats my feelings. BVB has been doing sell out tours year after year. My kid and I have seen them 4 times so we are pretty big fans.Their material and players are excellent. I'm 63 and love what they are doing. I would have killed somebody to have Ashleys old job.But I couldn't have faked doing those songs as they would be too much fun to perform.Curious...is this "the" James Hetfield? If so....Man I been a huge fan of yours too since MOP. I played with Mark Bederman in Blind Illusion for about 6-7 years. I think he told me he used to sneak and watch "new wave" bands in 1979 - 1980 and watching those bands,he dreamed about going on stage and shredding. Not sure about Mr. Bederman,but i think i was driving Kirk to the studio,maybe he produced something with him in 2009 - 2010, not sure, i just drove away Kirk in my Range Rover SUV. Cant remember much right now. Wish you all the best!
I thought they put on n awesome show until I found the Swedish metal band Avatar! Now THOSE guys can put on a show..every time they set foot on a stage!!!! Def worth checking out if you haven't seen them yet. Try Let It Burn, Bloody Angel, Hail the Apocalypse....I could go on and on...
