I love that you tried these books. The choose adventure one I can understand how it frustrated you in part. Loved the beach footage too.❤

They were all great reads. I think I’ll try the wandering again another time and make some different choices. Thanks for watching 🥰

So glad you had such a good time reading, even if not all the books were entirely what you wanted. You choose some really interesting ideas for your themed reading vlogs. 😊

What a fun concept for a reading vlog! I love stumbling upon those books that have something that feels so fresh and unique about them but there's always that concern over whether the book will live up to the concept 😅
Did I spy mushroom socks? 👀🍄😍

Haha I love that you’re a magpie for mushrooms!! I had loads of fun reading these even if they aren’t favourites. Thank you for watching lovely Sophie! ♥️

My library had a copy of The Wandering, so I've put a hold on it, just in case I have any time to read it over the coming months - sounds intriguing, even with the problems you mentioned.

This is so exciting! Can’t wait to see what you think! Let’s compare notes on the ending you get! I hope it’s better than mine!

Interesting concept for a video, not something I've ever thought about in this explicit way, a really engaging idea. Contemporary poetry is often playful with form, language, & shape in the style that you are describing, so it has me thinking. Ah, Devon, Ted Hughes country. The Mark Dunn book sounds very interesting, you've left me most curious, think I'll search this one out. Loved all the Devon landscapes & atmospheric soundtrack, think I'll spend today with Hughes. Thanks for another very enjoyable video.

Ah that’s so lovely to hear! Devon was very atmospheric! I’d really recommend Ella Minnow Pea - I had a lot of fun reading it but it was also thought provoking and very clever.
