Man so many cool keyboards makes me sad how limited the amount of instore good keyboards there are here might need to scan through more vids for a new one Great work dude
Saying “ I wouldn’t buy it cause I have better” isn’t really a argument in a review. It’s a 1/10 of the price of the ones you use so yes it’s probably worse. But under 50 do you find anything better? That is the question that should be answered because who ever is seeing this probably DOES NOT HAVE 500$ on their pockets for keyboards :)

i’m a student who’s not into keyboards and i’d only need this for typing and possibly programming, is it worth it for me to buy this or should i settle for something cheaper?
It really depends. With a keyboard like this you’re getting some durability and longevity that comes with mechanical keyboards plus the ability to swap out switches later if something breaks. BUT if that’s not a concern for you, you could totally get but with a cheap membrane keyboard. Mechanical keyboards tend to have a better typing experience but they’re not for everyone

I'm honestly very disappointed. I purchased and just received my RK61 which I found out about through RUclipsrs and listened to everything you all had to say about it. This has been THE worst keyboard experience I've ever had... I wanted to get into the keyboard community and thought this would be a great start. The biggest issue with this keyboard are the function keys which are overly complicated and some of the actions don't work or are very uncomfortable to activate. For example to activate the question mark, I have to press right shift + up arrow, which are both on the right side of the keyboard. My delete function doesn't work at all unless I replace the backspace function completely with delete through the HORRENDOUS software. Talking about software... The official software provided directly from the company doesn't even work "no device found" so I had to find out myself through youtube searches that there are user provided downloads with alternate software that work with this keyboard (they are all pretty sketchy and I'm pretty sure I have a virus on my computer from it now).. You should really provide a disclaimer or just not recommend this keyboard at all. For this price point and frustration I would have rather just have gotten a DIY for my first mechanical keyboard. Let this be a warning to those coming to RUclips for advice.
All valid criticisms. One thing about keyboards is everything is preference based. Some people may prefer how this keyboard works, others won’t. There’s also a matter of what someone is willing to “put up with” vs how much they are willing to pay for something better. There are definitely better implementations of functions keys, arrow keys, etc in other 60 percent boards, or even 65 percent boards. Doesn’t necessarily mean the board itself is bad, it just really differs by person. I definitely recommend returning it if you haven’t and looking for something more customizable or with better functions that suit your needs 👍
