@MegaJourdyn13 lol sorry mate but just because u get one ref that doesnt know the rules doesnt mean that rule necessarily exists! ;) you may have been called for dangerous play rather than a specific high stick rule...
the average hockey player makes the same amount of money asa normal job(if they actually get sponsors and get ppl to watch) but proffesionally they can make up to£300-£500 a week
Where I play in England you can't raise the stick above shoulder height or it's a follow/ warning followed by a yellow card.
at high levels such as EHL it is allowed, at a lower standard it is still illegal
in the push nowadays you push of your right foot because goalkeepers wont be expecting it
