I can't believe that people think your bragging about your finds when you clearly are sharing information with your audience. Never once did I get that vibe of bragging from either of you. It's so obvious that it is envy and jealousy over your finds. What they don't realize, is their behavior is petty and immature. Their actions are that of ten-year-olds. Like you said Brandon you guys are always scouting out new dumpsites and sometimes digging all day. That is how you are able to find many of the bottles worth good money. I'm so happy you found that bottle. I know how you feel when you uncover a bottle worth a lot of money. Back in the summer of 2003, I was on a dig with my brother, who is much more versed in bottle history and dollar amounts than I when I uncovered a Mineral water bottle with "A.Schroth Sch,II Haven" in a deep navy (cobalt) blue color, about 6.5"-7" tall, pontil, and were produced between 1840-1860. I still have it and I saw one recently sold for $1875.00!! I'm waiting to sell it when/if it climbs to about $2000.00. I want to buy a wood lathe I've been drooling over. These rare bottles are money in the bank and like stocks you have to stay on top of prices so you can sell it at a price its worth. Congrats again Brandon, you deserve it.

I was a child in the 1960's in SE Louisiana. We tossed and sunk these coke bottles everywhere we went fishing, hunting and boating. I liked to fill the bottle with water and sink it in the bayou or lake. I did not like to leave them floating because they caused a safety issue when boats impacted them. I sunk hundreds and maybe over a thousand of these bottles myself in perfect condition. Occasionally we caught some of these old bottles in our Shrimp Trawl when shrimping in the 1990's.

I love your videos. My husband and I dig in a spot that was a dump site in our town in the late 1800s and early 1900s. We find a lot of medicine type bottles. Deoderant, ink well bottles, and a Welch's junior juice bottle have been exciting finds lately. Barber dimes and indian head pennies have shown up too. We really are never sure what our finds are worth. We just really enjoy digging and the excitement of our finds. Thank you for sharing your finds.

You mention at 10:08 that Big Chief was replaced in 1930 by Dr. Pepper and Fanta. I have a question and a comment. In the first place, I have read in more than one place that the Fanta product line originated in Nazi Germany during WW II as a replacement for Coca Cola products, which were subject to the wartime embargo which barred shipment of American products to Germany. Second, Dr. Pepper has never been owned by Coca Cola. In 1998, the Coca Cola bottling Co. of New York reached an agreement to bottle Dr. Pepper's product, but that is as close as the two companies have ever come to joint owneership. Enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!

Back in the old days, marbles weren’t just a kids thing. Adults would have betting games they would play, like playing Nickels.

Not going to lie. First thing I saw was Clayton in flip flops. He had to give his momma some gray hair when he was growing up.

Great hunt and some very cool finds! In the immortal words of Babe Ruth “It ain’t braggin if it’s true.” Bottles are really cool in that they can be unique to such a small locality. Just got back into bottle hunting this year with getting the channel going and it’s been pretty great. Just got to get the following parts to the privy dig posted now.

Ran across your channel randomly today and to say it peaked my interest would be an understatement. I was curious why there were so many bottles all together in this one location?
