I live in Alaska and it’s been that way my whole life. I remember them sending me home from school because the smoke was so bad. Congrats on the rain! We would like the cool dry weather tbh. It’s been raining for days on end. Flood warnings and power outages all over.
It's such a good point you made. Thank you for sharing. It's rather amazing how varied landscapes are. One place needs rain and another place needs it to stop raining. The weather showcases that in which is out of our immediate control, and how much of a struggle that sometimes is.

That's the best to sleep. Used to travel hour and a half to my grandma's just to sleep in the shed made out of tin when it rained.
