I had the manual mode activated on my E250 CDI 2012.
Now I can lock the transmission in ex 5th gear before overtaking a car. No sudden gearshift during acceleration.
Jumping from from 50 to 80 km zone also goes smooth in 4th.
Does it work in 4th gear. Full throttle and no auto downshift?

@@raketjefsen no matter how fast you press it? I’m asking because I want to dyno my merc and it would auto downshift every time he gave it full throttle even without hitting the switch

Hello, excellent video, is this method useful for the w203 platform? they changed the Tcm but now manual mode is not engaged and the paddle shifters are off the transmission is a 722.9 nag2

Actually I bought the button not yet fixed. You dont need that button. With the existing one you can operate.

My car is a w204 2012 C200 gasoline.
M and A modes were added using VGSNAG2 manager, but the transmission started in 1st gear even in E mode.
I didn't do a backup. What should I do to start again in 2nd gear in E mode?
And is there a description file for VGSNAG2 manager??

It depends on the adaptations and your driving style. M and A mode would not make difference on that. Mine was also starting from 2nd when I bought it, since then it’s shifting from 2nd to 1st everytime I fully stop.

I’ve had this done to my w211 e550 m273 for a good while, holds gears just fine but I’ve realized that it automatically upshifts instead of hitting the rev limiter like amg cars. Is there any solution for this?

Hi, u are not alone… it did not work for me either… did all the steps 1:1. After restart - I even connected vediamo again and did read the code again - the code was the new one with „A“… but on pressing the button M (My button is only M - not the E-S or E-S-M) it did switch only between E and M. Can it be the case that my car system does not support this „A“ mode in general?

Mileage depends on how you drive. A mode is not for saving fuel. It is sport plus.
