I wanted to share some found Footage of the game my dad recorded. The day it was recorded was on December 16 1996. Right after the game came out. As you can see from the footage (It cuts out at some intervals due to our crappy VHS) The track appeared to have no guard rails. I am not sure if this is a bug or if this is normal. Online you guys all appeared to have guard rails. Very weird.
LOL this isn't found footage you put a filter on the video also the glitch effect is in 16:9 but the vhs only would have recorded in 4:3, it is also very obvious that your recording is digital and not analog

only the original SNES version had no guard rails on Rainbow road...
this looks like a weird bug....
