@@krisledford8718 they will never do enough damage to pay for themselves but they have full capture weight, encourage, and are dirt cheap without abilities or items
I think more Trolls would have been the way to go. Just replace the Savage Big Uns with Stone Trolls and you should be fine

IMO unsummoning the lord should trigger the "Lord fled" penalty. I also think it would be cool to introduce an "Our Lord Returned!" bonus of like +4ish for a short while after a resummon
Also, Turin you missed the dreaded troll tactical reserve hanging out deep in the Cathay homefield most of the game

do you think cathay is okay or do you think they need more? i feel like the shadows of change gave them nothing but i dont play them and im learning right now tbh
@spoof6023 shadows of change was really disappointing except for crowmen, which have single handedly moved them up a tier or two imo. Saytang is also completely busted in some fights.
The only real issue Cathay has is it needs one more low to middle cost melee infantry and some decent monsters to help it push and it will be close to S tier. Because it lacks those things it can be easy for rush down factions and builds to overwhelm Cathay.
Once Cathay can push back a bit better it might even need some nerfs to what it has now.
Currently I'd say Cathays rating depends enormously on the map and matchup because of those holes in the roster, but usually mid tier.
Unsummoning the lord should probably give either full, or like a half "lord routed" penalty to the morale until he is resummoned.

The Crowmen in the back chased off the Goblin Shaman leader off the map at 10:15 or so, giving that leadership debuff to the Greenskins.
The Sky Junk's Accuracy looks abysmal! Like even shooting at close targets it seems to overshoot into nothing DX
I think part of that came from it shooting from the top of the hill down the side of it.

The crowmen charging the savage orcs at the end didn't have bombardment/breath support, but at 15:53 you can see the orcs try to keep moving up onto the point. I think that let the crowmen get a flanking bonus and tear through the orcs.

HOW!?!? HOW TURIN??? HOW ARE YOUR THUMBNAILS AND TITLES ALWAYS SO PERFECT!!!!! Been a fan since you were a creative dwarf lover in WH1 and I have never been disappointed.
Goblin characters (not counting Skarsnik) are always so awkward because they'll lose to basically anything, maybe save for super low tier infantry and completely stripped empire spellcasters.
It just feels like the budget pick and honestly, I don't know if they're worth it. Sure, they're cost effective, but that's not because they're very effective but because they cost very little.
And that just tends to compound the general GS weakness of the entire battle becoming unrecoverable if they lose their initial momentum. Greenskins are the anti-comeback faction, they do well for a very limited span of time and if they haven't won by then, that means they're inevitably going to lose.
That is very lore accurate to how Greenskins are portrayed, but I understand how from a gameplay perspective it can be frustrating for a faction to not have a chance as soon as they lose their initial momentum, unless they've already built up a commanding lead.

Agree that lords should not be up for unsummon, nor should they be summonable again if they actually fall/flee.

I'm not sure about the values, i think it's -16 leadership for the death of a lord and -8 for a lord fleeing
Perhaps lord unsummoning could trigger lord fleeing penalty ?
The sky junks probably also serve as a distraction carnifex of sorts for any army with poor air power and no guns. Great greenskin tech

You know, I´m not sure I agree with them geting rid of lord unsummon. Honestly, it´s a tactical decision. But I do think they should nerf it somehow. Make it give tue "lord fled" leadership debuf, and make the proces take longer perhaps?

Diagree about lord unsomming. Its very lore friendly and often generals. If injured, would retreat from the field.
But would they magically teleport into the ether, and would their troops not be negatively effected by the absence of a leader?
I feel like unsummoning Lords should be removed from all factdions except the Skaven, cause it's lore accurate lol.

I originally destroyed full Breton army of 10k losing 40% health, now when I just blundered it in it did ~40% damage before it went down. Much weaker, although I wonder what it would have done if properly played.

Lords should definitely be unsummonable since lots of lords in WH run away, but there should definitely be a steep army wide leadership penalty for it.

I think you shouldn’t be abble to resummon your lord or heroes.
unsummoning and resummoning should not work on lords and heroes; (and should be way more needed on the rest off the army. want to see 3k point fights where keeping a unit alive to resummon is a Big thing and holding your lord/heroes back for the important things instead off nonestop throwing them wherever they can fight is a thing; it would also make orcs, skavens, and low leadership faction utilize the retreat off their units to unsummon much much better giving a far greator sense off a "SWARM" that keeps comming, instead off having their elite and SE be as powerfull as factions which are supposed to have SE off absolutely terrible porportions)
they are not units you can just switch with a healthy backup off same unit :P
and it would allow targeting them to be less gambling, or pointless if just resummoned
or you could unsummon it, bc it flees from the battle, but not resummon and the lord penalties should be permanent whether unsommon or dead (little heavier if dead to incentive unsommon oppose to death; though most races death would give far more morale; honestly human like races should have a temporately huge boost to vigor when a lord or hero dies near them, at least Dwarfs should channel that anger and grudge into some bonus in killing :P )

Not sure how a Lord being able to flee from the battlefield "breaks immersion". And you still get the Lord (thats really integral and often too expensive to resummon) off the field, thats still a huge reward.
Because you don't get a -12 LD penalty for retreating off the middle of the battlefield, but you get it when they run off the side
@@N0ahface well ya. Withdrawing a unit/character would be equivalent to a tactical withdraw which is completely different than a route (routing or breaking in game). So why would units lose leadership? Also, the leadership penalty isn't the only metric of punishment for a lord leaving the battlefield. By punishing an enemy's Lord heavily (like they are only a couple hits from death), you've effectively left your opponent with roughly three options;
A.) keep the Lord on the battlefield far beyond the battlefield which means the gold invested into the Lord is now wasted and the things the Lord brings to the value of the army (like combat prowess, magic, abilities, etc) becomes useless.
B.) risk leaving the Lord (who has been punished and assumedly accrued like no value) on the battlefield and risk getting killed or routed and suffering heavy leadership penalties. And even if they leave it on the battlefield their options of engagement have become severely limited. This can also increase the opponent's required micro.
C.) Unsummon the Lord and now the gold and the abilities of that Lord are wasted. You have to wait until they heal, and you put the opponent in a dilemma to have to respend the gold to resummon making the Lord that much more economically ineffective overall.
How is Cathay these days. is Formation Attack still bad and should be turned off?

i so wish that rts's won't equal to "zero AI behaviour allowed ", seems silly and breaks immersion and pushes heavy APM focus, which does nothing but stress the brain and destroy the joints :/ :P

I get the idea of banning lord unsummoning, but should the penalty for losing a goblin be the same as losing a dragon kid? I would be panicking as s much if some dumb guy died vs. the dragon emperor son who is almost a God to my peasant mind
