Check out a Round1, I went to one and they had one of these SoundVoltex machine, Wacca, Miku Project DIVA Future Tone, DDRs with Touhou music, and tons of other cool games.
@@rejecht_3042 I went to the one in North Carolina but it seems like they all have a similar line of games, they don't advertise what they do have much so its hard to tell but at the very least every Round1 has DanceRush Stardom which is super fun.
It's not that you have to be superhuman or have 200 IQ, it's just coordination and practice. Obviously you won't start playing the hardest levels as a beginner, you'll progressively get better at it, just by playing.
If you want to play that badly, play Sound Volblox. It's this game but imported to Roblox. Bad Apple is a playable song in the game, but it only has one difficulty - one of the highest in the game aside from SP tracks.
I love how the sliders (both the knob and button ones) add special effects to the song, it makes the game feel like this cool DJ deck and the songs sound so cool as a result. And also (quoting another comment) it feels like you’re piloting a mech

dat lane speed tho 😧 like god damn dude! ahahah i usually stick to somewhere around 1.0 relative to the BPM, maybe 1.1-1.3 depending on the song but i ALWAYS increase to at least 1.0x, can’t stand how slow the lane speed is unmodified when you’re playing a track at like 170bpm or something…then again, i did JUST begin playing SDVX and i’m still on Novice so 🤷♂️
I was just able to find a cabinet for it and honestly it's not too bad, I have experience playing 4k rhythm games but the controls feel very comfortable, the hardest thing is just moving your hands to different parts of the controller quickly enough

Damn, Sound Voltex forced its way to be my #2 rhythm game, ahead of GFDM, with DDR as my #1.
I find sound voltex to be one of the most interesting rhythm games, kinda sucks how the main way to play it is on an arcade machine

You could press 6 on the numpad to store the speed for different songs. Just open settings with FX L+R then press 6 when adjusting the speed
