It was Jann's first time ever performance in television. 3 weeks ago he was almost noname but he started to become famous before national finals. Jann was deceived by TVP. We was deceived too, because we thought that we had influence for the our finals result. Jann won televoting easily (over 50% of all votes was for him), but our jury put him on 4th place and he didn't has any chance to win with Blanka (jury gave her 1st place). 2 jury members have connection with Blanka (her choreographer was in jury). Few days before show TVP changed the rules and gave more power to jury instead televoting. They knew that people would choose Jann with "Gladiator". It was a scam, not fair play competition do we do not support Blanka.

Jann is a contratenor, Ochman is a lyric tenor. Actually Jann also used to sing in opera😅 and I like how easily he changes his voice, it's so cool. He's good in the lower registers but also fenomenal at hitting high notes. Actually, he is 24 so quite like Ochman's age, maybe a year younger. And he is far more expressive than Ochman. That's why it's a shame he won't go to represent Poland
Thank you for reacting to this! The most problematic thing about Blanka winning is that she friends with the jury, and one of the jurors was responsible for her choreography. Some people (like me) wouldn't see a problem if Blanka was a real winner despite the love for Jann. But she was TVP's promoted star and had a lot of money put into her performance and still failed it. Jann had literally those 4 boxes and himself on the stage and created an objectively better performance (while also having written the song completely by himself). It's just hard to come to terms with the fact the cheating during the national selection was that obvious and no one's trying to do anything about it. Bookmakers were placing Poland 6th (!!!!) before the selection results, now that Blanka won it's 22nd. Polish people simply don't want her to be their representative. The national TV is forcing it and I almost feel sorry for the girl because she's going to get even more hate as time goes.

Thinking like that make nations weak because a group of politicians and rich ones always want to be the leaders of everything even our minds. We - Polish fans of the Eurovision Song Contest - have every reason to think that the jury voting in the Polish National Final, due to which the song Solo won, has been manipulated. The voting system has been changed in favour of the jury only 4 days before the National Final. Up till now we haven't received the detailed voting of the Polish juries and the sms voting. Polish broadcaster TVP does not react to our petitions regarding transparency of the voting. Moreover, one of the jurors has professional connection with the National Final's winner. Additionally, the jury chef indicated in numerous intervies and comments that she did not know exactly, how the voting worked. We have many more arguments showing that the jury voting was manipulated. In this context we demand the cancelling of the jury voting in Poland and accepting the public voting as the official result or withdrawing from this year's Contest. #escjusticeforpoland #ShowUsTheVotes
he composed the music, lyrics and choreography all on his own as he didnt get any help from the ... polish people in charge who i forgot the name of. blanka did. this was also his first live performance and he had only 10 days to prepare himself to perform so he said no to dancers until unless he passed into eurovision.. so it's even more impressive
i dont think ppl would be this angry if alicja or dominik won instead, because they all are really talented. this is just clearly the case jury rigging the election. two ppl from the jury have connections to blanka, and she also works closely with the tv station. Alicja also got a really low score from the jury and her voice was fabulous. it’s just double sad because jann actually won the televote, and under the old rules (they changed the rules i think 3 or 4 days before the contest) he would’ve won.

The main point of the outrage is not that Jann lost, but that Blanka won in rigged, unfair selection, and that there were several rules of the contest broken. We still were not given detailed results of the televoting, nor the signed memos of the jury voting. This is about transparency, fairness, and equal treatment of the participants. Instead, we were given deals behind closed doors, cronyism, and fixed results for the TVP protege that cannot even sing but still was given 12 points from the "professional" jury.

Poland was so high by the bookmakers just because of Jann. They're now 19th. The juries don't want to win I guess. Correction: 20th now, lol. But seriously, I needed Jann at Eurovision this year. There is no other song out yet that I love. I only loved Jann. And I'm Dutch.
It happens that I didn't know what happen when I did this reaction. I'm not from Poland, so you must realise I'm not aware what is happening in other countries every minute, as you must understand, Matilde.
I dont think it should be accepted. ESC should control these very serious accusation. Corruption is against fairness and in my opinion shoud non present ESG.
The problem is not that Jann didn't win. The problem is there was CORRUPTION in our preselections. 1. The rules were changed to favour juries 3 or 4 days before the competition which is unacceptable. 2. Our TV doesn't want to publish the detailed results which would show how the juries voted, what they valued, which points Jann and Alicja and others didn't pass (for example voice, song etc.), but which were passed by Blanka, how the televoters voted etc. 3. The TV claimed that Blanka won 2 hours before the results were even published. 4. The head jury was told the results by an earbub and when asked about results she kinda didn't even know them. Btw she blamed the fans for Jann losing even though he got 12 points from televoters. 5. There are speculations that one of the juries helped with Blanka's chorography, however no official statement was made to prove it false. 6. Blanka was promoted by the public TV who is responsible for preselections. 7. Edyta Górniak the head jury called "the wise insights" a comment which stated TV unabled Jann the international carieer and accused TV of corruption. 8. Edyta Górniak decided to not participate in preselections after the scandal never again. 9. One of the juries' friend suggested that the public TV is corrupted. 10. There are rumours that two of the juries gave Jann very high notes (10-12 points) so I wonder how little the other juries must have given him to drop him to 7 points. 11. There is a photo of one of the jury being SHOCKED and DISGUSTED by Blanka's win while the results were published. 12. There were other great singers like Alicja and Dominik but somehow Blanka was chosen. 13. Blanka lies in the interviews as she stated that she has never given the heart for the comment in which the commentator praises her, calls Jann "a thing from social margin who shouldn't take part in competitions like this one" and also offends Krystian Ochman which is disgusting because she LIED and people have photos that she DID do this. If she had been honest and said that she read the first few sentences, nobody would have had such a problem, however she lied about not doing it. This is the reason why we're so angry and critisize preselections and Blanka. It's not about Jann, Dominik, Alicja or Blanka but the corruption and lack of transparency.
It's not just a matter of music taste. It's disgrace to music and Polish people in the first place. The broadcaster accidentally publishing a post of Blanka winning the national selection a couple of hours before the selection actually took place just sums up how dirty this case is. And people paid huge money for voting which was already known to be totally useless by the broadcaster. I think that this is a case, where the Eurovision big daddies should step in. You can chose whatever and however you want, but clear jury corruption and just sending some karaoke performance out of thin air is not something the Eurovision should support and tolerate. I am totally mad with this and I am not even a Polish.

It's not just a matter of music taste. It's disgrace to music and Polish people in the first place. The broadcaster accidentally publishing a post of Blanka winning the national selection a couple of hours before the selection actually took place just sums up how dirty this case is. And people paid huge money for voting which was already known to be totally useless by the broadcaster. I think that this is a case, where the Eurovision big daddies should step in. You can chose whatever and however you want, but clear jury corruption and just sending some karaoke performance out of thin air is not something the Eurovision should support and tolerate. I am totally mad with this and I am not even a Polish.

The song is good but not exceptional. Great vocals and stage presence. He was definitely too sexy and maybe provocative for Polland's jury. Ha ha!
