I disagree with Byleth feeling bad, but I will leave a like for you at least actually explaining why the character feels bad to you instead of just anti-Fire Emblem bias.

I feel like byleth is only character that their slow feels the most jarring and unplayable, but then I go quickplay see that byleth is the most played dlc character

I was really happy that the gimmick they gave the KoF stage existed, cause I really wanted that stage idea. My idea just had some Daisuke and some gears/blazes
For me, the excitement levels for the DLC was
1) Banjoe Mama and Kazooie Kazoboo
2) Society Man
3) Titty Big Hard
4) Shrek 2 Soundtrack: Track 14
5) Venus PlantTrap
6) Thighs
Also Dr. Mario isn't an echo fighter because he has one new move

To address the thing about Byleths stage as someone who's played 3H, there really wasn't. The only other thing I could think of is Gronder Field, but that would probably just be a walk off with a hill in the middle.
Or it could've been a traveling stage like Delfino Plaza or Skyloft. The places they chose are pretty boring too like the Bridge and Reception Hall really? There are more interesting places like the training ground, the fishing area, the tea garden, the greenhouse or Rhea's balcony, and they way they design the cathedral and the marketplace is too simple, they could've added some monks or shopkeepers to look more lively.
I agree about your thoughts on joker somehow his kit, mementos and the songs, made me check out persona 5 and now i can't stop quoting the series in my everyday life.

Considering how originally Roy, Chrom, and Ike were my top 3 mains, as soon as I tried Byleth, he immediately became my number 1 main. He fits my playstyle perfectly. I also play with Terry a lot too. Joker, Hero, Banjo, and Piranha Plant were fun to try, but neither of them fit my playstyle. The characters that fit my playstyle are my top 10.

Hopefully they'll add kasumi or even Maruki as P5 royal representation, and just have a stage morphing stage akin to the paper mario and three houses stages, but with the 3 main cities and some of the dungeons from the 3 main games. That's my new shot in the dark guess (ironically after I beat vanilla P5 last year, they referenced smash in the casino level and I was joking to myself it'd be funny if joker got in, than a bit later I saw the first wave of dlc coming lol)

Don't think I didn't recognize the music playing during the nintendo direct rant. that Harry Potter PS1 mission was hell.
Banjo isn't bad AT ALL- Leo puts him in mid tier, the tier list created by 35 PGRU pro players puts him above characters like Falco, Lucas, and Captain Falcon, and Japanese pro player Raito uses him as a secondary. Eggs are an amazing zone-breaking tool and together with grenade give him a strong neutral. The use limit on Wonder Wing is hardly a problem since, in general, you shouldn't be throwing it out against good opponents unless a hard punish or kill is guaranteed. Uptilt kills out of a bury almost as well as Snake's does and is much faster at catching a mash than upsmash, uair is gigantic, good grenade timing can fix his recovery... trust me, you really don't need the buffs!

Personally I feel like Plant embodies what Smash _actually is,_ instead of what all the fans _think_ Smash is. Legacy or influence be damned, I'd prefer Plant return before half the roster does. The character stands out like very few others do.
I think one thing about joker I like I'd that like most anime protagonists, this means you could play as japanese high school kid in smash (like everyone who self inserts themselves into joker both in Japan and overseas now really feel like they're in the game xD that's just how I look at it)

If I can say something about the DLC characters, I had a lot of fun playing them. Yeah Hero’s RNG was too crazy, Byleth being strong and being forced to play Omega stages until Terry was out. But I’m still gonna play the first pass characters and plant.
For Plant, it felt weird at first but now he’s fine. It’s only for the memes though with him.
Joker was the first character in my entire life to find a copy of Persona 5 to understand him. I enjoyed his kit, his classic mode path and the costumes(even though we could’ve had a bit of the Phantom Thieves colors besides Crow). Overall, he did start the pass off.
Hero. He’s my 3rd main. I enjoyed the RNG but it can backfire at him, his stage looked amazing like you discussed about and overall, he was fun to play.
Banjo and Kazooie made everyone on the internet lose their minds. I remember watching playthroughs of the two games and I even played the demo of Nuts and Bolts. I loved their design, moveset and even references.
Terry was my least favorite at first because I’m not fond of input moves until I saw that he has easy/hard inputs and the go meter abilities as well. That really puts those who main him with a high risk, high reward system and I’m fine with that.
Byleth.. Their reveal trailer was ok but bland. However, their moveset really gave me chills. Especially with the up special. The stage was ok, I enjoyed the main theme of both US and JP.
Overall, this pass made me think of a theme of “High Risk, High Reward.” Anyway, great video and I did enjoy the opinions you had with the pass.

I actually don't like how ANY of the 3rd Party characters play. I love how the 1st party characters play. Byleth, MinMin, and Pyra/Mythra play like a DREAM! I actually have to use brain cells to even do basic things with the other characters. Well, Sephiroth is fun to play, but the others are too complex for me. I appreciate all the fighters, and I even like them decently (Except Hero), but I just....can't. And seriously, I love EVERYTHING about Byleth and his stage, music, and moves.

Banjo & Kazooie?? More like "Kazooie & Banjo,"... Kazooie does legit 90% of the fighting. and at times they can be way too spammy. It's unfortunate that a beloved and desired DLC ended up being kind of ass. I hope the next DLC 3rd Party isn't like that.

Smash-wise though, I can't stand the FE characters they choose to throw in. Using the Pokemon analogy, it's like if Pokemon kept adding the trainer instead of the monsters, because that's who you play as. It's a game about character and personality, yet it keeps getting represented by the people who have none of that.
@@PotatoPatatoVonSpudsworth I feel like RPG characters in Smash aren't allowed to have too much personality other than stone cold serious. The only reason you play RPG characters in smash is to out smart your opponent and be very strategic, just like a real RPG. Any other kind of Personalty would most likely get in the way of that strategy.

@@PotatoPatatoVonSpudsworth That is not the only problem. Another problem is that of the 8 characters, 4 of them are almost identical in playstyle and moveset, even when it makes no sense lorewise. See, Pokemon and Super Mario Bros also have 8+ characters, but the difference is that there is much more diversity in uniqueness and fighting styles for the characters.
Also, there is something very off-putting about the fact that Sakurai has to basically play Fire Emblem Three Houses before anyone else did to prepare the character for the game.
For me 5/10 if Terry and banjo weren't fun. Then it would be worth bitching over. Piranha plant is not part of the pass. Plant gang
