    Hey guys! I had a ton of requests for Natural DIY Skincare Hacks. DIY skincare ideas and hacks are fun on occasion, but if you have serious skin concerns, please visit a dermatologist or licensed aesthetician. Unfortunately 'natural skincare' can be very 'active' and may irritate some skin types. Always keep your own skins concerns in mind when trying any of these ideas. I also recommend testing a small patch of skin before trying larger areas. If you have sensitive skin avoid the ingredients I marked in the description with **. Thanks for watching!!!

    if anyone finds that turmeric makes ur skin orangey/ yellow after you wash it off (especially in a mask), just use activated charcoal and water, apply that as a face mask. when u wash that off, it lifts the remaining turmeric tinge off your skin, not to mention it is a great exfoliater!

    • @FreezingGamer96
      @FreezingGamer96 8 лет назад +7

      Or you can wash it off with your facial cleanser or makeup remover. It comes right off really easily.

      or just use less tumeric she used way too much for her face

      A trick I found is to add chickpea flour to your turmeric mask, that way you don't get the yellow tint.

    I've made a scar oil blend, using helichrysum, lavender, lemongrass, myrrh, and patchouli. My youngest has had open heart surgery a little over a year ago, and I've been using this blend on him about 2-3 times a week and you can't even tell he's got a chest scar.
    Arnica works wonders for us too. Keep bringing us awesome natural diys. I love it!

    The body butter looks amazing however I wouldn't advise using it on sunburn because of the almond oil. Oils retain the heat from the burn and trap in against the skin which slows down the healing process.

    Hey Rachel! Love your videos. I never miss a single one.
    Just wanted to tell you that you might want to mix the turmeric (tiny bit) with gram flour (Besan) and a tablespoon of milk as a face mask or a face scrub or even a body scrub. Consistency depends on how much milk you add. We Indians follow this all the time and it gives up soft and supple skin with a glow!
    I'm sure you'll love it!
    Cheers!

    What brand of the essential oils do you use? Same question for the clay powder. Also, it would have been incredibly helpful if you provided links to the products that you mention in the video.
    Also, for how long did you cook the oatmeal mask? Did you add oatmeal to cold or boiling water?
    Would greatly appreciate if you could take a minute and answer my questions.
    Thank you for the awesome videos!

      Mix some lemon and sugar together put it on your chest, back where ever you have body acne and like it sit for 15-20 minutes. It will feel weird and sticky and you will look like a crazy person but it works and then jump in the shower rinse it off and at the end of your shower use cold water to close the pores. I used it and saw results within days. I used it for about a month on my chest and back not missing any days and now it's all gone!

    • @wolfferoni
      @wolfferoni 8 лет назад +2

      +Amelia Marshall That sounds good in theory - the sugar works well as an exfoliant and the lemon works well for killing bacteria. I wouldn't really suggest using that with live acne though. The sugar might be too harsh and the lemon will definitely sting if there's any open or newly recovered acne/ acne scabs. I'm glad it worked for you though, I'd just be a bit careful about it. Maybe diluting it a bit with water would help

      Buy a bottle of L-Lysine. It's an amino acid found in some foods that help rebuild skin and prevent acne. It's extremely underrated by acne products but works really well, also very inexpensive.

    Hi Rachael, about the use of arnica Montana for bruising I would like to add that in homeopathy arnica pills or ointment is generally used for reducing pain and not bruising. It's a common medicine given to as a kid by my grandfather who was a homeopathic doctor.
