Audibly more noise since no pannels do dampen the sound of PSU fan, CPU fan cooler, and GPU fans especially when gaming. However temps run much cooler. I have an open air case and rarely go over 55c when playing Destiny 2 on High settings
@@MarigoldAW Thanks for your reply - I bought one of these since posting that question and with noctua fans cooling my CPU and GPU it is inaudible until it gets put under load. And it looks absolutely awesome!
Dual 280mm rads in series for cpu and gpu in line with fans on exhaust, that’s what it needs. Than the psu at the top - cut the top plate to give it intake fan of PCU the breathing room with exact to the side
I wonder if this makes it more of a dust magnet being so open? I guess a regular case just traps and holds dust and maybe this might be easier to clean periodically 🤔
The components will get a thin layer of dust on everything surface facing upwards, similar to how a desk gets dusty over time. Anything more than that will get blown away by the fans. It won't build up like how it tends to in a standard case. The fans also spin slower on account of having less heat to handle, but this is offset by not having any filters to trap dust. Overall, it will be more dusty than an enclosed case, but not significantly more so.
i´ve gotten this Case and I think its great. My 4080 fits perfectly ecept for the power connector. but i just moved it to the site and it fits exactly. Dust is a bit of a problem but if you clean you pc every few weeks it should be fine.
Placing the PSU on the bottom and horizontally like in standard cases, with the rest of the setup on top of it, would have made the case lower. Or keep the same height and use the space on top for storage or exhaust. As it is, it's a bit inefficient use of space...
Thanks for the video! I think I am always open for new design ideas. But this one just does not catch me. There is no way to get control of the cables and seeing the back of the radiator is not that sexy... 🤷♂
i would have bought it, but there is almost no information about how much of these splines are in the package. i cant find any information with pictures what is in the box. i dont want to know what i can mount, i want to see the stuff in the box.
Great video! was stoked to see it as I have this case/TUF 4090/Lian Li SP 850 waiting for me at my house when i finish this job in a few weeks..... but now I have no idea what to do about the PSU. I don't understand why it isn't compatible and I guess I will have to return it. Is the Cooler Master v850 sfx compatible? Looking to replace my Corsair SF750.
It should have been made as a "mATX" but able to support both atx and itx motherboards with some expected limitations that comes with each. The case's slogan can be "ONE MODEL THAT SUPPORTS THEM ALL".
Loving these open air cases more now not gonna lie. Will consider them in my future builds
Nice to see something a little different 👍
Those animations in the intro when describing the case 🤯🤯!!
A shelf piece for those without cats.
Could you do a video one day on how you film your b roll and what you use ? Seriously the best footage of all tech review channels!
As fun as that is, we have to keep some of the magic to ourselves haha 💜💜💜💜
have this one in black
Banger of a video fams. This case looks awesome even with its few little flaws. Keep up the hard work
love these cases im fav is the xtia xproto line great vid guys
I wonder if the noise levels would be more or less than an enclosure?

is the PC part picker list still coming pls?

You can easily buy a blower for removing dust. The temps of the hardware should be great with this!

For me this needs Full Air Cooler like Noctua D15S or the big one without Fan. OR Custom Water Cooling with extern Radiator =P

An plan to review the Xproto L? Make sure to check the topic on IO ports facing up causing overheating video cards!
Awesome content !
Excellent video fams!
I ordered mine in october and haven't received it yet.
would love to see an xproto N review
how did you mount the riser cable not shown
Damn you beat the shit out the radiator lol.
That's what happens when a radiator doesn't listen to instructions. You've gotta beat it into submission
Any EATX version of this?
oh my cats would this. so much to play with :D
looks awesome though!
hey what do you do with your old pc's? I don't have anything rn :/

@@GearSeekers um ok
Hi family, love you guys. 🥰
Nice, but is it cat safe? lol
😂 Binny is under the weather at the moment but when shes feeling better we will have to test
@@KlaireGearSeekers I built in a H7 flow, it's fortress, however recently, cat chewed up my external logitec charging cable.
This isn't a case, it's a frame
These open cases are just glorified test benches to me. 🤷♂️
And?
Motherboard box will do the same job 🤣
Take up less space and better thermals. Not everyone wants a unicorn puke 011 like 99 percent of pc users.
@@BigJoeyCrack I’d do a unicorn puke DA6 with some custom fan grills
It compact by any means …
"Case" .....why do companies call it a case? they never "case" anything..... stand,,,,,, it's a stand
Parts are encased. It's a case.
Looks like someone went dumpster diving for parts. No matter the price its a hard pass!
Second🥺♥️
160 bucks for this? Haha no.
What a scam for a naked lazy pc case.
Put those tin foil hats on
