I am surprised how fast it is. You should get some 2.5cm foam sheets and cover them with fiberglass. It would weigh less and ride higher in the water. Can't wait to see the next project.
My uncle made a hydrofoil race boat out of foam skinned in woven roving fiberglass. Like mentioned above be sure to use epoxy resin so the foam doesn't melt. Lol
It's an interesting way to link the force from a number of DC motors...I haven't really stopped to have a good think about the good & bad parts of the application from an Electrical Engineering stand point but...interesting all the same

Clearly has talent and vision, really hope you're able to make something of it all. As others have said, you should sell the things, anyone selling veges with one of these would be on their way home before the others were half way to the market!! And, I might be presumptuous in saying this, but don't worry at all about what anyone may say along the way! You my friend, belong to a special group of the human species called "the greedy ones"!!! yup, use epoxy to not eat the foam, couple wood stringers for strength.
you can skin the foam with really thin wood first for hardness.
