This really went on to your skin well. Think I'll try it. In the past when shopping for foundation, I found that the shade recommended in the store did not appear to match my skin tone very well later on. Any tips on getting the right shade?

I would say having an idea of your undertone helps so neutral, pink, yellow or olive it makes the world of a difference then you can go for the shade level makin it a bit more easier if you fit in the fair, light, medium, tan, dark or deep really depening on the brands split of the range then you can narrow down the selection of shades. I find when picking online googling swatches of colors or looking at the models also can be of some help 🤗 and then in person swatching is great if not on ur face swatching a few colors on the hand and holding it up to your face can also be helpful. ❤
@@MDBeauty Thanks so much! I will definitely keep all this in mind. I was once told that I had red undertones and I used Iman Earth 2 Foundation which was perfect before they changed their formula and it's no longer available where I am. I will do some more research though and get the right fit.Thank you!

Tbh it was so long ago buttt most likely the KVD good apple concealers in tan 161 and medium 146

For fenty it's 385

Thank you! I think a large part is maybe genetics I do have some texture because im prone to moles and skin tags but I love drinking water and I think I have a basic skincare routine that I try to keep consistent. Maybe I should film an updated routine video lol. Thank you for watching!

hiii i’m new to makeup and I use this same foundation in my shade but I seem to look ashy .. is the problem the primer ? or the setting spray ? because I did not use primer
Heyy! So if its ashy? It could be a few underlying things but not necessarily the primer unless you're using one with a tint on it. It could be the shade itself you're using where the undertone is off for you.. It could also be the powder if you use one to set & also if you require color corrector due to hyperpigmentaion. For example I have hyperpigmentaion and with some foundations if I do not use a color corrector to cancel it out it can appear ashy in certain places. Can I use the same 330 in powder form and achieve the same colour?
To be honest I would assume yes but I have never used their powders to know if the shade match would be the exact same.
