thanks for your great review! what about breathability? do you stay dry during a run?

@kobus2002 I always run wearing a long sleeve under my rain shells to help with moisture management. I stayed dry for my runs under 60⁰ F. Most of my test runs were between 30 and 90 minutes long.

Thanks for the review. Do you mind sharing the size you went for along with you're height chest size (approx)? I watched another review and it looked far too baggy at medium. Thanks.

@fosterscaninmyhand I'm 5'10" 170 lbs. It's not baggy at all. Just about everything from Inov8 is an athlete fit so your not fitting much more than a midweight fleece or power stretch under this thing.

This is a great review! Have you used it with a hydration pack?

Yes I have used a few different hydration packs. I would recommend something 1.5l reservoir if you are planning on wearing this over your hydration vest and not one that uses bottles. If you are wearing the Hydration vest outside then it does not matter as much what kind of vest it is. The higher up it sits on you the better. Just keep in mind when wearing a pack on the outside water can penitrate the fabric when it gets between the vest and the jacket over time. Wash and retreat with a DWR like Nixwax.

Thank you so much for your response! I have been trail running in the rain and snow for years only wearing wool longsleeves without a rain jacket, but I know i've just been foolishly lucky. I was just so intimidated with all the factors you have to consider with a trail running jacket-- the weight, the waterproof ability PLUS durability under the pack. The extra input about wearing the pack under vs. over the jacket is super helpful. Thanks so much @@trailhouse4607 !
