Welcome to the Great State of Idaho !
It appears on your ride to Craters of the Moon you missed EBR-1 Nuclear reactor and our Submarine 666 Hawkbill in Arco.
Did you know that Arco Idaho was the first city in the world to be supplied electricity from a nuclear reactor.
So much to see and enjoy in Idaho.
    Safe travels !

When I was a boy, my parents took me to the Craters of the Moon on birthdays. Back then, there was no visitor center and lots of good exploring, camping, fishing, and hunting nearby. If you ever look at a 3D relief map of Idaho, you will see that except for the Snake River Plain, all of Idaho is mountains...

That was some spectacular scenery! Plus a beautiful campsite on that river. I rode some of those same roads on a trip out west, probably about 15 years ago. There are some really compact water filtration devices out there for when you’re worried about water quality. Check out a backpacking/outdoors type store or order online from a store like REI. Not sure if they would clarify the orange iron color out of the water but at least you’d know it was safe to drink…

Great ride. Craters of the Moon is fantastic and worth hiking to the tunnels. Two things, 1, while few accept it as fact, diet Dr Pepper is the best face shield bug remover and cleaner. It leaves no residue or film behind. 2, we took a Jeep on the River Road in Big Bend NP last week. Concluded y’all were crazy to ride those big GS’ on that road and impressed that you finished it.

Hi folks Richard don’t be surprise if the two jubilee clips loosen again as they are less than ideal for use in a vibration environment, combined with being used on metal material, ie solid as opposed to rubber hoses etc which compress and hold tension. Chris I can agree with you as my trip thru eleven states resulted in running out of cereal, milk etc, but at the end of the trip I learnt to do without and gorb when food was available. Gorb local term for greedily consuming here in ulster. Thks

The Tiger looks like a great bike but 12,000 mile valve checks/ shim adjustment seems like a short interval on a long distance bike.

Shake, rattle, & roll. Got a question for y'all. Do you know what kind of sound annoys an oyster? "A noisy noise annoys an oyster." Well, I too have a noisy noise, a SQUEAK which I cannot find since Summer time. My gently used 2014 Indian Vintage runs real good, lots of pep with that 2-stage. Although another rider saw it & states "it's a 3-stage." Anyways, It's not as loud once I removed the TPM gages off the front & rear tire stems. They were throwing the wheels off balance I'm certain. But the Squeak is still there. I suppose it's a process of elimination. Should I start by removing the wind screen? Or should I remove the seat? Or maybe the saddle bags. Glad you found your noise & resolved it. Do you get a discount next time you're in that bike shop for more work? Hope so.
