Excellent video and what a wonderful job Setag have done, I do not think this will stay on the shelf for long. Hope you have had a successful Southampton boat show.
We had a look in the older Fairline (2008 ish?) next door at the boat show, refurbished by Setag. Felt like a new boat, with a Galley midship, very nice & great value👍
Walked passed you today at Southampton but you were on your phone , I was going to tell you that I took your advice and bought a boat this year within my budget , just to get out on the water . Shame it wasn't off you but I couldn't afford a Fairline.😂😂😂
Best videos on boats on YT, still waiting for you to do the comedy slip into the water though, but ..... those feet, I think it would be best for everyone if we didn't have to see those cloven hoofs, there should be a warning to say "there may be a shot of James's bear feet that some people may find upsetting" Always fun. 😂😂😂
Amazing Setag again. 60k is a lot. 850k for a better than new looking p49 is not. Love the fabrics, the galley carpet, the headliners. Making the floor to ceiling cabinet in galley disappear by painting it is Setag magic.
Difficult to understand why any four year old boat would need a £60K face-lift especially a Princess as others have already said. Perhaps you should have done a before and after video to show the differences? Visiting today so I'll take a look.
Would love to know what that £60k spend actually added to the retail value of the boat. Thinking of doing a similar project and wondering if this adds value or just breaks even and makes the boat more saleable?
It looks great. But it’s four years old and needed a refurb.! That doesn’t exactly sound like a ringing endorsement of Princess boats. Think I’d be pretty miffed to need a refurb after just 4 years.
Nice boat and very well and clever refurbished. It worths the money. But you do really have a problem with the fenders. You are always mention to your deck boys to bring them in 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this guy, but do you not know what a pomegranate is? I'm.59 used to buy one every year as a kid in November with my penny for a guy money. These were the days when you could only get fruit and veg in season, the 60s and early 70s I'm London-born and bread out of interest where were you born and raised?
refit after 4 years doesn't bode well for princess, thanks for making my choice easier i'll cross them off. PS, the pomegranates will last a lot longer if you move them out of the Sun.
60k? Shoulda called Mike Brewer and Elvis Priestley. They'd do the refurb for 4k parts and no labor costs, just like they do on Wheeler Dealers. And just like this company, they never touch the motor whilst doing their "freshen ups." Suffice to say that keeping all this new wood and cloth in a a waterlogged 100 percent salt air environment will be having the "Princess" resorting back to her "shabby old self" in another 4 years, or less. Think I'd name this cash seavampire "Miss Havisham."
When renewing, why go with white and ruin that wood with paint? I vote good cleaning and polishing, and forget all that white! Beautiful layout but original was more homey!
Excellent video and what a wonderful job Setag have done, I do not think this will stay on the shelf for long. Hope you have had a successful Southampton boat show.
Thanks Simon 😊
Probably will never be able to own boat like that but I still love to watch your videos😀👏👏👏

Fantastic! Enjoy 😊
Why was there a need to refit a boat that is only 4 years old, especially a quality brand like Princess.
Freshen up 🎉
Greetings from the USA ! wow nice boat !!!
Love the US 🎉
If I had the money I would buy this from you, Very nice boat.
even rich people like to save £400.thousand.and I'm not rich.Great review .stunning boat 😃👍👍
I've not seen a Setag refit that didn't look stunning. And done in 3 weeks!
Omg- beautiful, beautiful ……. And…… I can ALMOST afford it. Sweet!

Ah thanks Alan 🥳🥳
@@Boatscouk You're very welcome.
Keep making the vids, always look forward to seeing the new ones.

On board now, doesn't look like they changed the pomegranates!

Yes fair point - they took it before I could film her 🥳

Bit of both 😊
Hello James, good afternoon. Just a quick query, why does a Princess need a refit after only four years? Thank you for your great Channel and videos.
Hi Martin - it didn’t need it - we just fancied giving her a makeover 😎
I'm not sure I'd do a larger passage in it.
needs an update after only 4 years ? 🤔
A freshen up 😊
Isn’t the third way just keep your current boat and do the extension and new driveway?
Nah that’s boring 🤙🏻
@@Boatscouk you are so right
Oi up Mr Barke ..I think you can have everything you want on a boat .. 😁😁👍🏴
Really great boat and I love what ST have done to it, but you really need a better quality camera so we can see the quality of these boats 😂
Will get iPhone 14 😊
Perfekt funny tour
🙏
Cracking boat. Really does look great. Well don SY

Didn’t need it - but we fancied it 😊

Born 1974 - Basildon , Essex . That probably explains why I don’t know what a pomegranate is 😂
Lol
Pity you didn’t insert the “pre-refit” photos at each point so we could see the difference.
Good point - sorry

Lovely boat! But what an expensive re-upholstery job that was 🥴
More than meets the eye 😊
Why would you do this to a 4 year old princess? Quite an expense to refit every four years, I thought they were better quality than that. 🤪
They are good quality- we just fancied a freshen up 😊
✳️ so this is what we are expected to spend all that extra money the Chancellor has given us 💵 #numpty
Unimpressed
Have you seen her in real life? Really worth seeing in Person Paul 😊
