This is perhaps the smallest Time Table Software available for Schools and Colleges. Less than 150 kb, yet very easy to use and powerful. Moreover it is Free and Open Source.
It will work on Windows, Mac or most of the desktop OS.Download the zip file from the above given link. Separate executables are given in this zip file for Windows and Linux/Mac. It will not run on Android.
For Windows: Just run the setup file given for windows. Desktop icon will be created. Thats all.
For Linux and other OS : install Java Runtime Environment (JRE) if you haven't instlled already. Then run the jar file CTT.jar.
User interface is different for Linux and Windows.

Clone this JAVA project from above repository and import in eclipse to compile from source.

What are they key combination or how exactly did you do it..
This software is making time table for a single day. I mean to say do I have to make a separate file for each day of school in this software? If i can make timetable for more than a day plz let me know how.
what is fy sy and what is inside the parenthesis
FY, SY are standards First Year, Second Year etc. Inside the parenthesis are abbreviated Teacher names.

Please install Java Runtime Environment (JRE). You can then run the downloaded java executable file namely CTT.jar
If you find it difficult, please consult a local guru or a college student who is familiar little bit with Java. Application will run on desktop (not on smartphone). All the best.
