The project has a very high socio-economic impact on Telangana. The 5000 crores on power + Rythu Bandhu + Rythu Bhima + MSP is offset in many ways with better living standards, better food security, better livelihood, safe drinking water, industrial needs and overall wellbeing of the 4 Crore people of this state. You never know what is next on plate from KCR. Kaleshwaram could be an intermediatory step and now this is sealed he will take concrete steps to stabilize the entire 1 Lakh Crore Ayacut including building a smaller dam on Pranhita with lesser TMC storage of 60-90 TMC as opposed to 110 TMC.
Kaleshwaram is a joke of a project. Who told you that there is only 65 tmc water available for telangana use at thummidihatti? Even if only 65 tmc water is available, still it's better than kaleshwaram cuz you are lift only 32 tmc water per year(160 tmc in 5years)
Kaleshwaram is a lifeline for Telangana , temporary issues are commona and these type issues are common in most of the projects. For telangana lifting water is the only option we don't have other options

Telangana has one of the lowest rates of unemployment in the country. If you don't know this, either you are from Andhra or Telangana drohi. There is no country in the world that would like to have zero unemployment. If it reaches to zero it is substituted by immigration and in our case, we import labor from rest of India a.k.a Internal immigration.
