    The day has finally arrived…
After 20+ years of coveting the throne of the treasured grain buggy, I gave up my seat to our daughter!
    And, you know something…
    SHE DID AMAZING!
Do you have kids helping you out at home? In the family business? On the farm?

Greetings from Dawson County, Montana USA!! I discovered your channel this PM and I couldn't help but marvel at how your daughter caught on so quickly. It reminds me of the 1st time I caught on the run. I was 12 years old and scared out of my wits when my dad told me I would be helping with the harvest by "catching on the run." When I had caught the first hopper of wheat without incident and as I pulled away from the combine, my father yelled at me from the Massey Harris 92 (it didn't have a cab) and said I had done a real good job! Talk about elation! I'm 60 years old now but I still remember that day, which field we were on and what direction we were headed. Thanks for sharing your experience with training your daughter to "catch on the run"...it's brought back some great memories...take care and thanks again.

Just came across your posting today, watched two videos and subscribed. A very nice looking farm operation, i.e. equipment, buildings, storage facilities and etc. Great to see your family is involved, hopefully more than just the harvesting side of the operation, your daughter did extremely well for her first time operating and running the cart and tractor, I am sure your time/experience was an important factor in the training. What stood out most to me was the appearance of your equipment, looks to be well maintained and appears to be as good as new, of course everything that I could take in the video in the background looked great including the field(s) of wheat. Thanks for posting, enjoyed your dialog/commentary provided in the videos I viewed.

seeing this i am reminded of the story of give a man a fish he will eat today but teach him to fish and he will have food for the rest of his life. seeing you teach your little ones gives real meaning to that teach them to work and they will be set for the rest of there lives.
i always preferred girls on equipment put a boy on they have to find out two things how much power and how fast it can go. girls rarely do that.
    be safe and good luck

I found your channel a few weeks ago and really appreciate you openess with the ups and downs of farming and your determination to improve. Lately, I've been going through all the earlier videos. This one really reminded me of my grandpa and uncle who farmed wheat and rye grass in Oregon. They were always having to make repairs on equipment in the middle of harvest. Have to say I am impressed with your family's skills. My grandpa and uncle had to have mechanical skills, but you needs lots of te h skills, too. Mark seems to be very good with repairs.

I think Jess did a great job! I was a nervous wreck the first time I had to drive our cart. But now I love it. Now if my husband and his boss would stop changing their hand signals. I can't figure out what we are doing half of the time. Without the radios or phones, I would be screwed. Lol. But my husband's boss completely missed the semi when he was unloading corn last fall. He dumped an entire hopper load on the ground. That's what he gets for not watching his auger location. Men!!!

At same time I had changed down in gear because it’s older tractor. I have it easier now but done work for other farmers n one tractor is big articulate pulling 38t chaser bin, having chase around bending fields while combine unloading. Stressful LOL. Glad to see harvesting going good👍
