- I wanted to do this song for a bit so I went ahead and did it as an amazonian cumbia making use of Logic pro’s interesting features to make things sound more psychedelic. Well, at least now I have a Touhou 19 track done

Do you have any recommendations for similar music? This is incredibly good. I've listened to a lot of your music and really love the Cumbia arrangements in specific but this one is especially good. The guitar from 0:39 onward is fantastic. What exactly did you base this arrangement off of, or are you just mixing different influences? Thank you very much for making these arranges, I adore them.
Well its cumbia amazonica, but as a genre its actually a little more broad. For this specific instance the cumbia amazonica is more leaning towards cumbia psicodelica than the more pungent folkier version. The bands that I was especially inspired by to create this sort of sound are the likes of for example, Los Mirlos (the name of the band in the title is a pun on that btw lmao), Juaneco y su Combo, Eusebio y su banjo de yurimaguas. Bands along this sort of line, have the sound that I tried to employ here. These bands are technically still active (i especially know juaneco and los mirlos still exist), but imo the sound is a little different as since this genre is from the 70s there’s definitely been some change of faces in some aspects and the higher quality audio isnt exactly the type of vibe i go for. The old stuff from the 70s and 80s regarding these bands are definitely the highlight
