[東方/Son Tsotsil/ Touhou] Candid Friend (Nitori’s theme)
From the last time I did a regional son, I wanted to do another one but this time I actually tried to look for more specific inspiration. Tsotsil music is quite interesting, especially from hearing how the singing itself goes. And once again I tried another method of trying to blend the chord progressions in the track I was arranging and the genre, well I found the result interesting anyways.
As for the instrumentation, I did add in marimba, chirimia, tenor recorder, and a tlapitzalli to sort of round out the sound of the final product. In any case I hope the song is enjoyable though, I don’t really think nitori’s theme can be as rhythmic as others considering the way it works so I tried ...

I had to specify about it being Ecuadorian because colombia also has its pasillos and they do sound different at the least the few I’ve heard. But well, as for the theme I knew that it would do well with a slow genre and hence why I chose this type of pasillo. #touhoumusic

@@Someone45356La trompeta caracteristica supongo, aunque claro, el pasodoble tiene subgeneros, yo es que estoy acostumbrado al español tipico de los toros. No sé si es por la trompeta o por los tambores. Aunque las partes mas lentas si que son más parecidas.
@@Smougda si eso es lo que iba a decir, el pasodoble es bien variado entonces como que no lo entendia el comentario. Pero si pues la trompetas estan en modo seccion con las flautas y le dan el segundo verso a las dulzainas. Me base bastante en como hacen los pasodobles de dulzainas pero mezclandolo con un tono de los pasodoble militares y tambien de los mas sinfonico que tambien me parecio bonito. Y Si me gustaria revisitar el pasodoble de nuevo pero de lo mas lentos como los taurinos y ahi si le pondria una trompeta para rol titular. Tambien me parecio interesante por ejemplo los pasodoble mariachi o hasta los pasodoble argentinos con bandoneon y ensemble tipico argentino y demas, es que en realidad si hay bastante variedad para escoger con el pasodoble.
