    I'm just getting into making keycaps, but I have been using this for dice and it's AMAZING. I have a modded harbor freight one and have all the same problems with it slowly losing pressure and busting my hands on the wingnuts. The blue pressure pot it worth every penny.

    Would you recommend this same brand but the 2.5 gallon version (model 255C)? It’s $100 cheaper and I don’t see why I would need the 5 gallon one for keycap making.

      Interesting! I didn’t realize there was a smaller model. Yeah that would def work.

    hi. (thank you for your video!)
    silicon can de-bubble though pressure pot?

    • @CosmoCaps
      @CosmoCaps  3 года назад

      yes, i pour the silicone into the mold and let it cure inside of the pressure pot.
      This is not to be confused with a vacuum chamber.

    What air compressor do you recommend for under or around $100?

    • @CosmoCaps
      @CosmoCaps  3 года назад

      hmm.. for that price point I am not too sure. Sorry :(
      This is the one I have: www.homedepot.com/p/California-Air-Tools-8-0-Gal-1-0-HP-Ultra-Quiet-and-Oil-Free-Electric-Air-Compressor-8010/206087284
      I managed to get it during a Homedepot sale (father's day I think?) for $161.

    What mold cases/bases do you use in your other videos?
    Are they 3D printed?

    • @CosmoCaps
      @CosmoCaps  3 года назад +1

      zbutt system! zappy sells them on his website and Etsy. They are 3d printed with a resin printer, I don't own one.

    Which one should be used ?, a vacuum equipment or a pressure one ?. Or both?

    • @CosmoCaps
      @CosmoCaps  3 года назад +1

      Just pressure pot + air compressor. I don't think many use a vacuum
