What I like about it is it’s just 1 piece. Most everything else I’ve seen is in pairs, and this one looks like you put it in the Center spot where it should go.
I put one on my Roadking. I don’t know if it did anything but I put mine on in the summer and didn’t have the windshield on for the first few months but I think it stops the wind from coming up around the tank.
I know this video is a year old but figured I'd throw my two cents in. The triple tree wind deflector or air baffle as Harley calls it(according to my Harley service manual), main design and function isn't to reduce helmet buffeting but rather to redirect air over the cylinder heads to aid in engine cooling. If helmet buffeting is a real issue for someone, I'd recommend installing fork mounted wind deflectors, not the best looking option but it truly does eliminate the buffeting. God bless and ride safe.✌
The more I look at it I felt like it would mess with the air cooling the engine. I bought a chrome one, took off the black one and left them both off. I may just put the chrome one on after all tomorrow.
The deflector forces the wind down and prevents it from coming over the gas tank, so it seems that there is still plenty of air coming across the motor. Ride safe and thank you for watching the video.
Yes we believe it does help with some buffering on long rides. But you would have to be your own judge of it, but 2 of the 3 believe it helps. Thanks for watching and ride safe!!!

@@RiverBluffBaggers yes sir, I'm sick of all this rain, but we're going rain or shine for sure one way or another 💯👊🏽😎
Do you think that might take away some of the incoming air for motorcycle cooling ?

Great video

I wonder if it would make a difference on a Road King?
We don't know about that but it's not real expensive and easy to install. If you try it let us all know if it works. Ride safe our friend!!!
