Lipos are spot on of they are looked after. Just make sure to set the battery charger up properly when charging. I didnt by mistake once and I had a lipo set fire. So now when I charge lipos I charge them in the garden. But as said in the video you can't just go out with a electric rc car using lipos cause you have to plan when your going out to charge the lipo batteries up lol
Nothing wrong with being cautious. My mate's life changed from a tablet charger going pop a few years back. He was on the sofa, all the kids in bed, his Mrs was at the gym, fire alarm went off and upstairs was a blaze. House has 3 floors and his youngest daughters bedroom was on the top floor next to theres where it started. His boys he got out quickly then went back in and went upstairs to get her, had to go through smoke and flames and couldn't see on the way down. He then went back in to get the dog out. The fire brigade all came and he had just been running off pure adrenaline, he then went into shock and the pain hit from the burns over his body which had all blistered up . At one point his vest had caught fire and it left the imprint of it on his skin. He was put in an induced coma and had his lungs pumped and vaccumed out. He had gone from a power lifter to a very fragile lad that took ages to work again and build back up. To this day his lungs are still delicate. They did a peice on him in the local paper later on. I remember going to the house before the restoration had begun and it's very eery seeings house destroyed from fire, the kids rooms where the plastics have just melted and formed new black shapes. So yeh, no harm being cautious lol

Letting people have to know how to handle lipo it's a good idea thank you for taking the time to make a video on it✌👍💯👨🏫
The "s" is for wired in series, so 4S2P would mean 4 cells in series, 2 in parallel.
That’s good info thanks 🤘🏻😁
Nice advice least I can drive to the model shop as I passed my driving test now
Niiccceeeeee
Have the Spektrum smart charger and batterys for my Arrma cars. Kinda expensive but not as expensive as a house fire.
Another good vid buddy! It might be overkill but I bought a Batsafe box to keep mine in, just for extra piece of mind.
I keep mine in a military amo box 😂

All that stuff is more dangerous than people think.

Nitro is good but not as popular anymore unfortunately everything is going electric and electric is much faster
Not all electric cars are fast. Modded engine with right gearing will beat an electric. The traxxas 4tec does over 100 mph stock
@@ggwoods5684 most electric are faster than nitro I've had and got both since the 80s not many nitros do 80-90mph out the box
@@ggwoods5684 and electric is much more reliable
@@andrewedward3839 no not really I had a few diff issues then the cups ect snap had armma and traxxas the e rvo was dreadful and the slash 4x4 too
@@ggwoods5684 I've never had any trouble with my arrma's but I do good maintenance
