curb dash is when you drive down the wall, and as you pass the curb at the bottom, you dodge at the perfect time and you'll get a dash, sometimes it pops the front of your car up like a donkey dash
it's a curve dash, not a curb dash... curb referrs to the ledge on the side of the road
IDK if I'm listening to someone calling them "curb dash" and "donkey dash" XD

Always rooting for Dark but Smashy played a great series, especially after getting so dominated game 1. Adjusted to Dark’s speed and punished his overextensions

That’s pretty common with his showmatches, players are pretty overwhelmed at the start and become more able to handle him as the match goes on. He really needs to learn how to play a slower, more “boring” playstyle to enhance his crazy mechs
Imagine Dark(?) vs Zen, that would be an interesting match.
Edit: Some people think i’m saying it would be a close match. So just to clear it up, no, i don’t think it will be close. Even though Dark(?) is a very mechanical and fast player, zen is overall just better in my opinion, hence the scoreboards. I’m just saying it would be interesting to watch, entertaining to see. See how both players comprehend and take actions onto each other.

zen's pace is way above dark's. he wouldn't be able to do anything unless zen lets him.
@@prod.Acrostic I don't know why people keep saying this would be an interesting match. In 1s, Zen is a top 5 player in the world, probably even top 3. In comparison, Dark is currently #143 and has lost 13 out of his last 16 showmatches. What would be interesting about it?

Smashy looks good, I've never seen 'em before. Did really well not to just lose his head and crumble after the way this showmatch started! And that ground pinch attempt at 23:21 was class. Deserved to go in!

Smashy is incredibly skilled, I love seeing the creativity he displays in clip hitting and hope to see a successful comp career.

Has anyone made a tournament where it's a race where you have to wave/wall dash through a circuit? I'd love to see what the speedy players could do in something like that. Who is THE top speedy boy? The world wants to know.

Y’know, people talk about how fast light speed is but clearly they dont know dark speed ⚡️
Love the videos but it’s so kind of frustrating when all of Darks moves are highlighted and talked about while the other players hardly get any mentions. Darks speed, moves on the wall, thought process, aerials, kickoffs, and more are all mentioned while barely anything from Smashy is talked about.
I get everybody likes Dark but there’s two players competing in these videos.
Smashy is a really good 1s player, he’s washed from a break but arguably has insane mechs also, don’t even get me started on the sideways dribbles lol

The "curve dashing" is just a wall dash lol in fact wall dashing on the curve is easier it takes less inputs for some reason. Very good for people who aren't able to mash jump as quickly, takes maybe 3 or 4 dashes inputs to hit supersonic but as soon as you leave the curve you lose the speed unless you boost

We cant say most likely since he has a bad track record so far in showmatchs. The internet might have contributed but I doubt.
Dark(?)’s consistency is kinda… if not… very bad. He hides them with his physical movements that he is mastering compared to the rest. He still needs lots of work and consistency to actually be a good leaderboard player. I think hes currently around #143? Not sure, but would love to see him with more consistency 😊

Although dark lost, you have to admit that dark looks much better than the last few showmatches. He's improving, all he has to do is stop overcommitting.

Dark isn't even trying to win the games tbh. It's a showmatch he's more occupied with doing crazy stuff than just getting consistent goals.

Idc Dark is still better is speed causes him to make minor mistakes but overall Dark is better in General we dont see anyone clipping Smashy plus Smashy momentum is not the best compared to other RLCS players

@@leighbrownie Since when is 2000+mmr barely SSL in 2s? Lol you show how little you know , he is literally playing with Pros these days , not the absolute top but for example few weeks ago he played with and against Shadi in many 2v2 match who at the time had almost 2100 mmr and Dark carried him most of the time, I didn't watch his most recent streams and his RL tracker doesn't work but he is literally around 2000-2100mmr , that is several hundred mmr higher than GC3 , but sure 'barely' lol , his 1v1 is also almost 1500 which is also way past the mmr where you become SSL , but no matter what some people will always say he is barely SSL and I could not care less , numbers don't lie

Zen ran with it so that everybody could walk I think zen broke the skill ceiling and it’s gonna take a while for it to break again
It's been broken by dark dashes. He's done more innovation than Zen cause he's trying to break the ceiling, Zen wasn't.

@@Snapey81not in every way, Zen has popularized better, consistent play and more aerial meta while dark(?) repopularized recovery mechanics and pogo’s. Both contributed but one just out performs the other in skill. Innovation may be the wrong term he used though.
@@Official_Solok I don't think Dark can be attributed to recovery mechanics that pro players were already using, I don't think I've ever seen any pro player do a recovery and thought - "oh hey, that's one of Dark's!" He absolutely did for the pogos, but outside of 1s it's just not a viable mechanic.
