In Japan honorifics are used frequently when addressing someone. “Chan” is typically used for younger girls, “kun” for younger boys, “sama” for the elderly or vips, and “san” is generally used for someone older or of higher status than you. Or even generally for strangers.. It’s all based on mutual respect.
need to watch their rap covers!!! they have a series called Galz Xypher: Jurin, Harvey, Maya, Cocona all rap over sampled tracks :). Galz Xypher 2 is the one they were showing at the start of coconas intro
Juria being the last 1 in the Korean camp & now being the golden voice (together with Chisa) of the group & such an amazing live performer & dancer, it really speak volumes about their dedication & drive force to be the best...
“Working overtime no days off” XG is really an inspiration. Especially team C. And the Show Champion was the one that they went to as trainees (instead of taking a rest), then they performed later on the show when they debuted . Im crying
That’s the Galz Xypher playing in the background ! Also thank you for being such a great reactor and keeping the uploads coming , it really makes me happy when I see ur vids :)
I think it's more that she was inspired to tears by the teamwork and support being shown in the exercise. Airi Ito is her name btw not to be confused with Airi Kamiya.
Show Champion is a music program in S. Korea which ranks Music songs by physical and digital sales, Online votes, Judge votes, RUclips viewership count from official sites and broadcast score from performance. Highest gets ranked champion but can only hold that spot 3 times (triple crown winners) and is removed from the list of competing songs.
If you were curious about the raps in the beginning they are from XG TAPEs! These are essentially rap showcases from rapper members (Jurin, Harvey, Maya and Cocona) with raps that they write themselves. There is also XG VOX where vocal members (Chisa, Hinata and Juria) cover different songs either solo or together. And lastly there is XG MOVE which is for dancing covers! There should be playlists for each of these three somewhere on RUclips and every single video is so good. It showcases their individual talents perfectly. The ones I would recommend the most are "XG TAPE #2 GALZ XYPHER", "XG TAPE #4 Trampoline" and "XG VOX #6 Losing you" but you really can't go wrong with any.
The Japanese suffix "-san" (さん) is a polite, gender-neutral title of respect that is used to address people. San (さん) is Equivalent to “Mr.” or “Mrs.” San (さん) is the most common honorific. It is a title of respect, so it is okay to use for anyone, especially if you are not sure which honorific to use.
I've seen a lot of docu reactions and I love yours, you really seem to pay attention to the details! Jurin, Coco, Harvey and Hinata are still the strongest dancers, but the others have come so far now that they are legitimately great too, you would never guess that they had to work at it so hard. Juria and Chisa shine brightest with vocals, I don't believe Simon would have ever gotten rid of them because their voices are the strongest of the group. Maya has grown into an all rounder, she can do anything and do it well. At the start of this doc, it's majority dance focused but it changes up a bit soon!
The rap song at the beginning of the video is [XG TAPE #2] GALZ XYPHER (COCONA, MAYA, HARVEY, JURIN). Sounds like you have not listened to it yet. It's a Rap Cypher.
Judging by your reaction at the beginning you have yet to watch all the Tapes 1-4 (the rap line)/ Vox 1-6 (the vocal line), you need to take a minute or two and check them out
San is a polite reverence. It’s like “Mr.”or “Ms.” in context. But the Japanese culture highly emphasizes on politeness. They have something called “Keigo.” Keigo is the highest way to speak showing respect. It’s like saying, “thank you very much,” instead of “thanks.” It can’t be alternated to “appreciate it.” It’s very strict. It’s not used only in work places. It’s used with strangers and ages even an year older. The existence of strict Keigo existed before modern day workplace settings. But in America, you can call it “corporate-speak.” I’m Japanese.
さん (San) is a Japanese suffix added after a person’s name that is used for a person who you aren’t close with (doctors teachers etc) it can also be used for people older than you as well. Japanese has levels of politeness keigo is the basic level sonkeigo kenjougo and I think there is one other level but I don’t remember.
@@TJsO.O "Spoil" I didn't even know they mentioned it in the documentary bruh. It's my first time watching this along with her. Like... I hate spoilers what a bold assumption to make about me. I am just a person who stan kep1er and noticed ohhh that's hikaru and she hasn't checked out kep1er so I was like lemme put her onto some good music. No intentions to 'spoil' jeez.. 💀
@ alr didnt want to come off rude. im also a kep1er fan, has been since gp999 but i just wanted to tell people since its more fun to see people get surprised that another girl from the project came out and debuted around the same time. sorry for sounding mean didnt intend to. hope you have a great watch along with us and keep supporting the kep girls and xg!!!
"what type of dance is that.... i saw them do it last time" from what i learned from other pro dance reactors to XG, they said its a good exercise for the girls to practice as it teaches them to quick yet light footed. the goal is to do like the hops and NOT hear the foot as it goes back to the ground. in beginning u either get off beat or the footstep is too loud.
No she hasn't. I totally forgot that she's only done the full group songs and most of the dance practices, until I saw her trippin' on the Xypher footage and I was like "Oh, yeah she hasn't done the Tapes or VOXs yet!"
You got some spoiler here in this documentary for the Tapes, since you haven't watched yet. These raps are from Tape 2 Galz Xypher, my favorite tape i have to say. I'm waiting for the part 3

Cannot imagine XG without Maya, Chisa, Juria
This episode is how Maya became my bias.
You have to react to the cyphers and mix tapes that’s where these are from
I love that you’re watching this!

22:37. I think that was the girl who said she couldnt dance because she got injured. Think thats why shes crying

Loooove your XG reactions! I'm crying with you even though it's my second time rewatching this documentary 😭😭😭
The san is a form of respect in Japanese. I'm guessing you've never seen The Karate Kid movies.
20:36 Yui she was the 10 year old that got scolded by Simon earlier.
41:21 The one in the middle was Rino, the one whose arm swing you liked.
idk if you notice but they spak both japanese and korean here, most KPOP groups speak more then 2 languages
