    RK3 Designs is a learning studio focused on teaching how to create beautiful epoxy finishes using Stone Coat Countertop Epoxy. These tutorials include epoxy countertops for kitchens, bathrooms, and much more. This channel provides tutorials for DIYers, contractors, designers, or artists.
    Rhonda Dracoulis Founder and Primary Instructor
    RK3 Designs started as a way for Rhonda to showcase her creativity but has blossomed into a way to help others find theirs. Her obsession with painting led her to start refinishing furniture and kitchen cabinets. She found customers wanted a nicer option than laminate but more affordable and customizable than natural stone, which lead her to countertop epoxy! Since then, she’s helped thousands of students, from across the country (and even Canada eh?).

    Wow, The matte finish on the top really took it to the next level 👏👏👏 I love to use epoxy resin on my furniture projects, especially the tops, so would love to see more of these videos. I did a couple of vase pours after watching your video and used a tray mould to catch the excess, demoulded it when it was pliable and it created some cool decorative trays to hold odds and ends ❤ Thanks, as always, for your inspiration 😊

    Thank you for doing a tabletop!! 😍 That turned out looking quite lush!! ❤️ I like the marble look, but I also love the look of the maple look of my tables, and I don't want to paint them. Are there maple toned brown marbles in nature? Or would one of your wood look finishes look better? The glue is aged, but it has dovetail grooves in the drawers. To me(novice), it seems to be made out of maple wood and not pine with a maple finish. They are hefty pieces with red toned striations in the wood. As they were my parents' furniture(both have passed), I don't want to ruin them and really want to know what I'm doing before touching them. I want them to maintain their antique look, but give them a longer life.

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  7 месяцев назад +1

      I would do a soft marble with earth tones. I think doing a wood grain would clash with the natural wood.

    You are very talented. It’s funny how we both started off with faux finishing and moved to resin. I love doing both but if I had to give up one, it would not be resin. This table is gorgeous. I am going to try resin on a floral vase and will duplicate your technique. Thanks Rhonda and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and your family.

    • @RK3Designs

      Yes, absolutely, you just have to apply a bonding primer first to the glass then the undercoat.
