You're walking through a old mall, reflecting back on the past to when people were around. Back to when you would spend time with your friends and family, or S/O. You get drawn out from your thoughts when you hear music. You think theres no possible way there could be any playing unless someone turned it on so you go running to the source, a clothing store. You go busting in, looking around for any sign of life, hopeful you'll find someone but you soon find yourself in yet another empty store, standing in front of a dirtied mirror. Nobody was there. Nobody will ever be there.

As the song is ringing in your ears, you sit down at the wall, zombie groans are heard everywhere, and you're bleeding out from a big bite in your stomach.
You got infected, the mouths are the way everyone got turned.
Nearly breaking down at that realisation- tears build up in your eyes.
You worked so hard, ran so fast, and starved yourself just to keep living, and you're finally dying, this is it.

Blinking away the sudden dizziness from your head, you accept your fate with tears falling down.
She's right, you're all alone in this apocalyptic world.
But maybe this bite is a good thing, you think as your body gets numb and tired.
Maybe it's good that you got bit, you're so tired and you were probably gonna die tommorrow anyways.
Savoring your last breathe of air, you hear her again.

POV IMAGINE: It’s the last day of school today before Christmas starts, you’re hanging out with your friends the moment the announcement starts.The announcement that changed your life.The principle says that everyone should evacuate immediately so you and your friends start running towards the exit. You make it home safely but then you realize that your mum, dad, siblings haven’t come home yet.Your heart fills with worry, not only cause of the announcement you heard at school but also because of that fact. You decided to take a nap. It’s 7:04 AM the next day and you wake up dizzy and tired from last nights events. You then remember that you never saw your family actually come home. Checking every single room in the house, and still. Quiet. Empty. Now you’re really starting to panic. You decide that maybe you should head to your school since the time was already 7:20 AM. Setting aside your worries you get dressed and head to school thinking, ‘maybe mum and dad came home and left while my siblings went to school before me?’ “Yeah that’s it!” you exclaim and continue walking. Your hope convincing you that everything’s fine. The atmosphere was kind of off when you reached your destination. The gate to your school was open, no guard in sight. ‘That’s weird’ you think but don’t question it. You enter the building only to see that it was still stranded like your house and the streets. ‘...What?...’ You started walking faster and faster until you were running, without thinking you barge into the first classroom you see. The only thing that you find though are desks, chairs, and dust. The desks are chipped at the corners and thrown across the dusty room like a fight went down. The chairs were stacked on top of each other in weird places. You also notice that the board up front had weird chalk drawings on it. The only thing you could make out of that was a weird eye in the corner. You leave the classroom and continue down the halls. You just realized that you could have just checked your phone to see the news. You facepalm while taking out your phone. [5 MISSED CALLS]
[3 VOICE MAILS] [83 MESSAGES]. ‘Since I opened my phone might as well check them’ you think. You first open the voice mails you received since you deemed them the most important. [VOICE MAIL .1] “Hey sweetie! I just wanted to call you and you know, tell you t-that I love you! So much! When I come home we’re gonna watch our favorite TV show and eat ice cream all day! O-Ok..? Anyways ill talk to you later!! **Smooching sounds** **beep beep beep*. ‘Huh..ok?’ [VOICE MAIL .2] “Hey sunflower! How’s your day been so far? I’ll be coming home late, at about 11:20 PM.Thats the reason I called you by the way! But doesn’t hurt to ask about your day does it? *CRASH** Anyways! And that the last thing you read about that topic. But to your surprise you also find a video..? You press play to see two classmates recording the teacher because they said he was acting “weird”. The teacher noticed them filming but the weird thing was he didn’t say anything about it. He jumped from his seat as went towards the window. He opens it and smells the fresh air like he’s never smelled anything before..? He jumps. Everyone starts yelling and screaming for help until.. quiet. The kid who was filming turns the camera towards your whole class. And. Blood. That’s all you remember. You close your phone and throw it away. You start walking to clear your mind of what you saw. Right before they video ended though it showed an announcement from the government saying that everyone was dying. Everyone. Was. Dying. Suddenly you hear a sound coming from the teachers lounge. It sounded like someone was singing?.. Desperate to find another living being you run towards it.. Nobody~ Nobody~... You open the door only to find a broken radio repeating that word again and again, almost like it was mocking you. And then it dawns on you. Nobody. You have nobody. You sit there and start singing along until for the rest of your days you’re stuck saying that same word. It soon became your favorite word. THE END.

Ugh same here. I live in a small town so it's either socialize with annoying people who talk down on you or just stay alone without friends till you finish Highschool and go to college in a big city so I choose the latter. It does get lonely sometimes tho..

as nobody plays, you wander thru the halls of a long deserted hallway. the sound echoes thru the empty halls, you hear the faint sound of your feet on the ground under you. mitski's words resonate more and more as the song loops again, hearing the first line that dug deep into your darkened heart. as the song progresses, the radio at the end of the hall gets more and more fuzzy, blurring the words together. you run to the source and fiddle with the settings, hoping to just hear the chorus again before the battery runs out.
you desperately turn knobs as the refrain kicks in, repeating the same six letter word over and over again. as the music fades out, it doesn't start again. that was the last set of batteries you had. you'll never hear music again, at least until you find some source of batteries nearby. through the static you hear someone's voice. it's not the song, there's no backing track, no performance happening. its just a girl from the other end, robotically saying the same word.

imagine you hear music down the hall from your apartment thinking someone is alive rather than you being the last one on earth. you grab your keys and dash out of your apartment dorm to find the one dorm that has music coming from it. you finally found it, named room 689. you walk in to see that no one was there, you check everywhere to find the source of the music. it was in an old closet, with the source being a stereo. you check how long it's been going for and you see that it's been on a loop for 5 years, but now you finally hear it, why?
The thought of never being able to hold anyone again, never being able to receive human live again, is haunting.

You walk into your room after a horrible day at school. Your mother comes in, "Sweetie, what's wrong? You don't look well." 'What is she saying..?' You thought. Then, you go up to your mirror to see nothing. "I'm fine? I look fine. I think you're seeing things mom." "Alright.. anyways, you have clothes to put away." She then tosses you a pile of clothes. You groan, but say, "Fine, I'll do them." After thirty minutes, you hear silence. Nothing. No oven on. No microwave. No sister yelling. No mom doing the laundry. SILENCE. 'Where is my mom and sister?' You thought, running through the house. You find yourself in front of the washing machine. 'It's not on? I swear I heard it.' "Mom? Louise?" No answer. Complete silence. "MOM?" "LOUISE?!" Again, silence. You sit on the floor, tearing up. Sobbing, as most say. 'Where did they go?' You get yourself up seeing the outside go bright white. 'Yikes.' You thought, only thinking it was a huge light. After that, you walk down the stairs into your room to think about your thoughts. 'They must've just went to the store without me! That's it. Hah, I'm literally so stupid!' You get your phone to see nothing. No time. No texts. No calls. Nothing. 'Nobody? Ah, whatever.' You go to your messages app to text your mom, "Mom, where are you? I'm scared. The outside is scary. You're not home, it's like you vanished? Where is Louise? I miss her. I miss you the most. Did you go to the store? Please answer mom. I love you." You sent it after re-reading it. You start biting your nails in the fright of having nobody. You lay your phone down. 'Maybe she'll answer. Or even get home after I sleep. That'll be better." You lay down, have expectations of your mom and sister coming back home. Three hours later. Nobody's home. But you get a text message saying, "Hello sweetie. I am at the store! We only need a few more things. I'm so sorry for not telling you, I definitely thought I did? Anyways, be careful. Me and Louise will be home in three hours." '"Okay, it's been two hours since that message, one more hour to go then they're home!" You said, not so scared anymore. "I was so stupid, thinking they vanished? Haha." You go downstairs to see the time, 5:45. 'Around 6:45 they'll be home!' You thought, reassured. 'It's almost dinner time, I'll make a bowl of cereal.' You proceed to make your bowl of cereal to see the time 6:00. 'Sheesh, I must've dosed off for a bit haha.' You thought. You then sit down eating cereal. After you're done, you get your bowl, put it in the sink and wash it. Whilst you're doing that, you look at the time thinking it would be around 6:30. "Aha! I was right on the dot." Like you thought, the time was 6:30. '15 more minutes. 15 more minutes.' You sit on the couch after finishing washing the dish. 'I'll just watch TV for a bit.' After 15 minutes, you fall asleep. Thirty minutes pass. You wake up to see your mom and sister not here yet. "MOMMM? LOUISE???" You look up at the TV and it's spamming you with the words, 'Nobody.' all around the it. But you hear your garage open? 'Mom.. Louise? Is that you?' You thought, getting up to get the door. You see them both. "MOM! LOUISE! YOU GUYS SCARED ME." You run up to them, hugging them for dear life. "I'm so sorry for not telling you we left! I love you honey." Your mother says. "Yeah, we are so sorry." Louise said. Years pass and your life has gone up since then. But you still remember how scared you were. How alone. But you're better now. You're with family. Not alone, not scared, happy.

My own pov : you're walking down the hallway after you've managed to escape a war that has ended almost everybody(which sounds stupid but whatever), You realized that you were the last person alive, Your friends, Family, Pets, The rest of the world, Was all gone. However you kept thinking about the person who saved you by helping you find a shelter, Judging by how calm it was, There was no doubt that he died as well, There was some hope left inside of you so you thought you'd see if there was anyone around. "Is anyone there?"... There was no response. You started searching in the rooms near you. You didn't find anyone, The only thing that was there is a radio Playing a song from the distance. You knew you wanted to see whether that person was there or not mostly which built some hope inside you. After almost an hour of searching, You've lost all your hope, You started tearing up because of how lonely you felt walking all alone, To your surprise, you felt a hand grab your shoulder slightly.

Okay POV: Your the last person on earth after a nuclear explosion that killed everybody, you sit on a bench in the nearest mall listening to a playlist you and your best friends made during the summer, crying and screaming your lungs out, you watch your loved ones die and the earth get destroyed. You move from the bench and walk out of the mall and into the parking lot, you can feel the toxins in the air starting to take effect onto your body. You lay down onto the pavement cause you start to feel dizzy, as you start to die, you and your best friends favorite song starts to play. You start to tear up, you close your eyes and you finally were at peace with the world.
You unexpectedly wake up in a bright room. It smelled like lavender and fresh cut grass. You look over and see your best friend laying next to you, you start to tear up again and sat up. Your best friend looked over and started sobbing. You both hug as your favorite song came on. Your best friend looks up and tells you to look up as well. You both realize that you weren’t alive. You look back at your best friend but they weren’t there anymore. You could start to feel a sharp pain in your heart and hands, you look down at your hands. They were disintegrating, fading away perhaps. Tears running down your face you look around one more time to see your family sitting on a couch. You try to scream but nothing came out. You cry one last time before your vision went dark. There you were. Finally dead. Hopefully, you will live once again in another life.

You've survived the worst apocalypse the world has ever faced. Nearly everyone is dead. Your pets, family, teachers, classmates, all gone. Some of them died in front of you, others passed without you knowing.
You've taken refuge in your abandoned school. You were immune to the virus that wiped out nearly all of the population. The only people left are you and your best friend.
You walk down the hallways together in silence. How long has it been like this now? You've lost track of time; the days blur together, empty, meaningless, nothing. Your friend hasn't spoken in a while.
_You froze in the sudden abrupt silence. Everyone around you seemed frozen in time and then... choking, coughing, a cacophony of endless screams of pain. You stood there helpless, watching everyone die while you lived on, unaffected._
You break free from your thoughts. You realise that your friend, your only remaining friend, isn't talking. You hear a sudden thud and you stop in your tracks.
"Hey, are you okay, did you trip or-"
You don't finish your sentence. Your friend is slumped on the floor, reaching out for your hands, tears streaming from their eyes, suffering from the agony they are in. Why? How? Why did this have to happen now?
"Don't leave me, I don't want to be on my own..."
Your friend's eyelids flicker, and finally droop closed.
"No... no!" you cry out, sobbing and hugging then to your chest.
As you do so, the intercoms crackle and a song from long ago echoes through the halls. How that happened, you don't know, but does that even matter anymore? You can't really make out the lyrics over your distraught sobs, but one word stands out to you.
You're all alone now. They're all gone. Nobody will help you, nobody will laugh with you, nobody will love you again.

you are the last person on this planet. you already gave up on everything, you accepted your fate. walking around the places that used to be filled with laughter and joy..everything looks so normal, yet it isn’t. everything looks untouched, perfect, as if people just left it. sometimes, an echo of a child’s laughter can be heard.. whenever you look into a mirror, you see them. your friends, smiling and giggling, right next to you..your heart skips a beat at that moment and you turn around only to see.. nobody. you know it’s just your mind playing tricks on you, yet you still get so excited. they’re not real and you know that. you know that very well, but it still hits you hard.

It was the evening...
The sun was already low, so it was a bad idea to go out. The sky had its last few moments of light, as colors of all shades covered it. The clouds blended, making it a work of art. You stand there, watching as the last bit of life dies from the world and everything turns dark. Finally, it was time to work. During the day was used to go explore buildings and find supplies, but the night was used for studying. You leave the window and stroll to the desk. The apartment was the nicest I could find and most was covered in papers, notes, and anything that had useful information on it. Desperately searching for a solution or even just a reason.
Three years ago was when it started, 2047. looking back I feel like I was so young then. Although, I was only a few years younger. It all started in a single day when a whole city was wiped out. A plague, virus, not even scientists knew. But the only thing you knew was that everyone is gone and you're not. The reason? Even you still don't understand it.
You step over to the recorded player. There was no electricity to light the dark cities anymore. So it was easier to use older technology. You pick out a record, Nobody by Mitski. You had just found it while searching another building but you had never heard the song. The name sounded interesting so you took it. Gently, you placed it on top and carefully timed the needle just right. The song started to play, You turned the volume all the way up and wandered to another room to start working.
But something about the lyrics. It was as if it was describing you in every way. Not sure if you should feel upset or annoyed. It was like the universe was mocking you. Tell you how lonely and forgotten you were. You listen as your eyes become heavy. You rush over to turn it off. Going the take the needle off, it gets stuck, repeating in a lope. Your eyes become too heavy and a tear rolls down your face as you hear the same word...
Nobody.
I once had a dream that I was alone.
Stuck on an island in the middle of the ocean, sitting in a home that's not my own.
Counting the days since my brother left to find something out of our world.
It felt real, the sounds, the smell, the sight. One of the most vivid memories of that dream was staring out at the ocean seeing small houses old and broken, lonely and cold.
I hated the feeling I got, I now hug a pillow every night.

This feels like a realisation. The feeling sinking in that you truly have nobody left and you're alone in the world with no one to support you.

You're walking through the mall thinking you're the last person on earth and hear this play over the radio, running to the controls you open the door and see the only other person who had been alive, finally dead, their hand falling had pressed the button to play the music. Now you are truly "nobody"..
The fact that there’s going to be a last person on earth for sure kind of haunts me. Like, it doesn’t matter for how much time they will be the last person alive on this world, even for a split second they will be completely alone.

You had with some strike of luck had found an endless phone that wouldn’t break and had everything on the internet in it, you grabbed it out of your pocket and starts playing your favorite mitski song, vibing down the hallways, tearing up remembering the memories of when everyone had still been here, you lay down putting the song on loop, falling asleep and dreaming of people coming back for you.

your, walking through an old mall playing a song from a few years ago that you vaguely remember and start searching for any sign of life or food,You think you are safe but you hear something loud surrounding you, for some reason it makes the hairs on your arm stand up. You quickly realize that’s the blood curdling sound of a zombie hoard outside the very building you stand. Terrified you whip out your nailed bat and run to the nearest stairway to somehow find somewhere safe....but... the mutated zombies quickly run up the staircase from the bottom floor screeching,and banging the sides of the stairwell, terrified you freeze not knowing what to do or where to go. You start crying and through your tears you see over 50 zombies violently running over each other and pushing just to get a whiff of your human flesh to quench their thirst for blood...you don’t want to die but you always knew you had to eventually...you finally accepted death, you bite your lip and stand firm and listen to that song one last time letting out a faint smile covered by tears. “Nobody, nobody, nobody”

no because imagine listening to this the day after the world is ending and you and one person are left and you two start wandering around wondering what to do and the other person slowly is dying and you know its a matter of time before they pass so you make the most of it by heading into a Ice Cream Parlor and both get cookies and cream, your favorite. as you walk out you S/O falls to the ground you break down crying and wander back to your home. Now your by yourself inside your own home blasting this through your speakers and nothing matters anymore and you are hysterically crying wonder what to do now. There is no hope anymore everything is over. You try to picture the future but you cant see anything. You wonder if anything is real anymore and you start praying and hoping someone walks through the nearest door but no one comes and you must accept your all alone now and must live on with what you have now.
You were on top of a high building watching everybody get biting by zombies, you just sat there eating a snack bar, while you listened to the lyric “I just want somebody to save me” you eventually finished the snack bar “it’s my time” that’s all you said as you stood up and jumped off the building “nobody nobody” you words of the song kept playing into your earbuds you knew you were the only person alive so what’s the point of living..? You landed on the ground harshly as you became dizzy and slowly saw how the zombies came to attack you you slowly heard the song fade it “goodbye” were your last words

Only then did I notice the vague music that sounded throughout the whole mall.
Clasping back to my current situation, I twirl my head around, only to see what I wanted to see the least. The zombies were catching up, not only that but, a whole hoard had already formed.
“Jesus christ” I whispered under my uneven and tired breaths.
I wasn't even certain what direction I was headed in, I wasn't sure whether I was going to get out alive or not.
I had gradually slowed down, because I realized, I ran into a corner.
I was stuck.
Completely and utterly stuck.
My back was now turned against a wall, there was no way out. The zombies were headed straight for me. Then it started again.

Salty tears prickled at my eyes.

I had a vivid dream about the end of the world last night. The Earth split apart. The ground caved in. It was a horrible earthquake. All of those dear to me were either crushed under the rubble or fell into the endless void in the chasms. I remember standing in the empty parking lot of the local grocery store, the only one in town. (I live in a small town in the midwest)Though the parking lot is pretty small, it seemed to stretch infinitely in all directions, hidden behind a ring of fog at the horizon. Anybody have ideas on what it means?

POV story:
You find yourself in an abandoned broken down mall. Recent news declared the mall destroyed from an earthquake. The ruins had been abandoned for a good amount of time and you were going there after... the accident..... As you go through, you hear a broken radio play a song. You thought about being 7 and running through the same mall to the play area, your mother following patiently. As you walk, you hear creaks and a few crashes. You don't pay attention though, as the simplicity of walking through the cracked area is distracting you. As you enter the main area and sit on the side of the old fountain that had stopped flowing, a creak is heard. You find yourself crying a bit and look up. As you look up, it's as if time slows. You see an old pillar slowly falling on you. In your final moments, you hear the broken radio one more time...

Nobodys POV:
you ran down the street, hearing someone chasing after you. everywhere you looked, you saw people killing people. beating them up, abusing them. as you ran, the roads became more covered with blood, bodies, and rain, as you were watching your friends and neighbors kill each other. once you got home, you left it slightly open to make it seem like someone already cleared out the house. you went up the stairs, looking for anyone in the house. there was nothing. not even your pets or any dead bodies. the house was in the same condition as it was when you left for school earlier that day, and you could hear faint screams in the distant. the TV started to play music as you headed down to it. it was flashing peoples families and friends, all dead on the grass. you ran to your room, hiding under you bed. your eyes filled with tears as you heard the screams come to a stop. you went unconscious from lack of oxygen from crying, and woke up soon later. you crawled out from under your bed, hearing blasting music. and the memories came flashing back from yesterday. you walked out, to see everything destroyed and burnt. the fires were put out from the rain that was still pouring.
during school yesterday, your teacher was teaching math and soon their phone went off, and their eyes widened. their computer started blasting an announcement that the world was running out of oxygen from global warming and lack of trees, and there were tornado sirens going off. the teacher evacuated everyone, but they didn't listen. they attacked each other, trying to survive. you and a few of your friends and others ran out, and that's why you were running.
you looked down the street to see a lone car, parked in the middle of the street, pretty far away, blasting the music. you soon recognized it as Mitski, Nobody. and tears ran down your face, as you ran as fast as you could to the van, but when you threw the door open, there was dead man in the drivers seat with a knife in his chest. you gasped, and looked back at the lawns, and saw nothing. just ruins, but no bodies. you looked back, and the man was gone. you backed up, covering your mouth as your mind was filled with confusion. you started walking down the street to the mall, hoping someone was taking refuge. you got there, but the mall was blasting the same music. you walked around, ruins everywhere as the music echoed through the building and in your head.
no matter how far you walked, you saw no signs of life. the trees were bare, and the sky was grey.

you walked through the empty, blood and rain soaked streets,
nobody.
doesn't even sound like a word anymore. you walked and walked, your legs giving out soon as you ended up in the middle of the highway, flipped and dented, broken cars everywhere. you sat there, crying as the rain picked up again. soon, you heard a car driving.
are you hallucinating? there was no way you would be able to hear a car driving over the blasting music and sirens. you looked up at the sky, and looked at the horizon, were the sun should have been.
soon, light emerged from behind you, and your eyes widened. you heard a car engine and a door slam. you looked behind you, to see someone offering their hand to help you up. you looked behind them at the car, and the sky clearing.
"Lets go home. I know a place where we are safe. You must have been wandering for so long, you poor thing."
you took the hand, and stood up, feeling their warm hand in yours as you walked to the car, they opened the passenger door for you as you got in. the door closed and they got into the drivers seat, closing the door and driving away. suddenly the radio turned on, playing the end of the song.
