As a part of the Baron's Brigade I feel it is my duty to help in this fight to keep guns up from being deleted. I have a lot of memories of watching Baron play guns up on long trips or any time I wanted to watch a strategy game that I knew would entertain me. When the news came that Guns up was being deleted I was sad, but then Baron fought to keep from being deleted. I supported that very much and now this second video came out I am even more exited to know that the people from guns up are seeing what we as a community say, that we are being heard and that we have a good chance of keeping guns up from being deleted. I just want to say, thank you to all who have been helping in this effort and especially to Baron for being the leading figure in this.

The most annoying defense is the mortar the annoying units are riot, toxic, and gunner.

I wouldn't like it to get deleted, but it would be nice to get a content-update, WAY less grinding, or change it to the mobile version cuz I feel that one is better since it has more gamemodes, troops, and buildings.
But mobile verison is more grindy than original version

Just to let you know, this is my childhood dream game and now I have the game and it was very fun building and attacking enemy bases. It's sad that the game is gonna be deleted, I don't know why they would do that. But I hope we can save it again this time.
I believe that the devs don't have enough money to keep the servers up, so they have to shut it down, it may be a different reason though

about 3 years ago ive been introduced to this game by one of my favorite youtubers (baron duh)and it was such a great game but i just couldn't play it i had no steam account. only later like a year would i be able to play this masterpiece yet that account had been hacked and taken over. till now i have made a new account but it is hard to level up from the overleveled bases made from the million gold and billion munitions they'd been given by the creators as a 'thanks'.but may this game rest in peace as it changes into a mobile game.

I used to watch his guns up videos when I was 10 years old, and I could not pick another video besides guns up Baronvongames. It’s so sad to see it go. Hopefully it will stay! Fingers crossed!
I hope they don't delete it! suggestion for the devs though, make the time limit longer as there are countless times i could have won if i had an extra minute or two
I really don't want Sony to shut down this game. It'll be heart breaking if they decide to shut it down on December 14th.

W, honestly sad to see this game shutting down in december 2023, really do hope they decide to continue the game instead of shutting it down or at least extending the deadline for a few more months, I remember playing the mobile version of this and it was honestly genuine fun and made me think on how to improve the defense of my base, albeit there were already metas in place at the time of the game I didn't use any of them.

this vid was cool bc my great uncle was in the 101st airborne during the vietnam war and he tells me stories about it so it was pretty cool to see u make a video on it
I remember optimizing the everloving ** out of my defense in the mobile game, setting up my base so it perfectly led enemies into a single killbox where I spaced everything out just barely enough so you couldn't hit more then one thing with a missile, but still have everything capable of sending fire directly into the bulk of the enemy advance as well as the flanks should they tear down the walls
In a rank/game where defense was hardly practical, that base seldom let anyone through.

Baron the best way to deal with mortars is a small amount of rocketeers and Rangers or bombadeers then focus fire on it when the mortar fires.
The the best way to keep your men alive is to have both the roit and the bounty hunter in your loadout they keep most of your special men alive especially your veterans.
i remember watching u blitz and drae playing this when it first came out. i was probably about 5 watching over my older brothers shoulder. i really hope they don’t delete the game, i l literally grew up with if.

I checked my PC this morning, and the icon for Guns Up!, was gone. Even though the game is gone, its legacy will live on within the players like myself!

My uncle introduced me to guns up and I eventually found your channel way back in 2016. I binged your channel and played the game so much. I didn’t own a console at the time so when my uncle would come and visit us for the holidays it was pretty much the only thing I did during the down time. Me and my uncle really bonded over the game, we talked about strategies and optimization of the troops. Guns Up was my favorite game ever when I was younger. And then you know life happened and each year I got more and more busy I changed my preferences. Just growing up. I tried to go back to the game a bit ago as I got back into gaming, but I couldn’t get into Guns Up and I just thought it was my internet. Only today I learned that it was shut down. It sucks that we have lost such an amazing game but can’t blame them the game really hasn’t been active in a while.

This game was great back in the day, but once you get to a certain level it becomes less fun because all the bases start to follow meta-layouts. It's a simple game when you think about it, but the unit animations are top notch and really help to pull you into the battles that no other game of this type comes close to matching.
I watched your first ever video on this game and got it strait away I've been playing it off and on over the years and it has been one of my all time favourite games

Baron there is a demo for a game called "all quiet in the trenches" its a ww1 game in which you lead a squad of 6 German soldiers
"your actions will not effect the war but they will effect the lives of your men" you need to chose between the lives of your troops (all of which have their own families and stories) or your prestiege with the commander

Sorry Baron, I enjoyed playing Guns Up too but there's a critical flaw that ruined the game. The level of difficulty of enemy bases after you won a few attacks scaled up way too fast. This might not seem like a big deal but it meant that you could not continue to play because you had no chance of ever doing anything as a low-level player against high-level bases. So one bad decision in the core game elements totally ruined the game for me and probably caused people to stop playing in large numbers.

Quick word for baron you can spend to get rally up flag in card thing for 5000 munition but you need to spend it until you got three and thousand munition in game but depends what skull you on

Baron, some of your units need to be more optimized. Your grunts and riots should have minimum wage rather than steady for oen of their perk slots. I notice that you keep running out of munition because they are very expensive. Also, manage your alliance.

Hey baron I gotta ask have you experience a glitch where you gain 20,000 gold and you lose half of your munitions? Its a pretty rare glitch in the game. Its kinda funny.

Baron should ask if me could take over Guns up atleast if that posibable probely not, but I can hope. I might not be a part of the community, but it reminds me of mijn paradox interactive/ history community. I wouldn't know what to do with my community that why i watch and comment to help my brothers and sisters in arms.
I hope there will be a update about commanders and naming them and editing them that's you're first and free one that's the only one you can edit like make its looks and yeah i hope they add skins for countrys i hope first is the Philippines is the best skin ngl if it was coming out next update edit: the commander spawns in your inventory and you have to change its looks to use it
