Love the Farne islands hit or miss with the weather and the vis . Looks like you hit gold on the day of your dive . Many times our dives are cancelled due to the weather. Going to do a club dive in November fingers cross ❎
This is so amazing and interesting, there are simply no words! Wonderful experience, congratulations! It's funny that seals always bite divers' fins; they are always primarily interested in fins)))
Great footage. Knivestone always good for the seals especially at HW. Worth diving Whirl Rocks if you get good weather on neap tides. Best wreck dive is the Athelduke albeit a tad deep on compressed air.
We have 1 space left on our upcoming seal adventure NEXT MONTH. This time it's in Lundy Island, 13 - 15 September, 2024!! Suitable for certified divers with cold water experience or snorkelers: Info here but feel free to drop me an email too (ayaan@scuba2000.org.uk): scuba2000.co.uk/uk-events/lundy-island-2024/
I'm hoping to do this trip later this year, what are the rules on touching the seals? I don't think I could resist if one came up and was messing with my fin or something :)
Thank you! It was fantastic trip... we went first week of October and were very lucky with the weather, as the days before there was heavy rain and wind!
Join us on our next seal diving adventure in the Farnes or at Lundy Island: scuba2000.co.uk/club
I've done this dive twice and absolutely loved it. So calm and hassle free.
It's awesome isn't it, we loved it there too!

You will have an awesome time. Some interaction is generally OK if they seals are happy to play :-)
Great video! What month of the year is best to interact with the seals at Farne islands? When did you dive over there? Weather looks great !
