- In this updated video, I show you how to install Docker on Kali Linux in under 3 minutes so that you can then spin up all the containers you want!
Containers are a great way to spin up labs, environments that contain tools we want to use, and more. After we successfully install Docker, I show you how to create a pentesting environment with the Damn Vulnerable Web Application, all using a simple command.

Thanks for this!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this very fast install. You saved this Woman’s life.
😂
Glad it helped!!
Thank you!
didn't work at first,
docker pull vulnerables/web-dvwa
that's the second command he mentions. thank you.
it works !!! 😀
yay!
If I stopped It how can i start the dvwa again?
The same way every time: docker run --rm --it -p 80:80 vulnerables/web-dvwa
Except the next time you launch it, it won't need to re-download every layer again and it will be super fast!
Can you show how to upload Docker Compose in Kali?
It shouldn’t be any different than with other distros or even operating systems
thx
yw!
when I logged out and logged back in it's looping the log in page and won't let me log in.. I also tried shutting it down and opening up kali again and it's doing the same thing
Which log in page is looping? Your VMs?
@@Cybrcom when I start up kali linux in my VM, it will take me to the sign in page but when I try to sign in it'll just loop back to where I have to enter my username and password
@@Ykhavari And you're sure you're entering the correct username/password? Pretty odd, but at that point I would recommend a fresh install
I got this error message
WARNING: The requested image's platform (linux/amd64) does not match the detected host platform (linux/arm64/v8) and no specific platform was requested
standard_init_linux.go:228: exec user process caused: exec format error
Strange...I did a little bit of research and some users have reported that adding "--platform linux/arm64/v8" after "docker run " but before the rest of the terminal command might help. Please try that and let's see!
@@Cybrcom "Unable to find image 'vulnerables/web-dvwa:lastest' locally"
when I did 'docker images' in my terminal it appear in there but idk why it says unable to find
@@gabrieltsen5426 Sometimes this happens and you have to type "docker pull " first. If that still doesn't work, try "docker image prune "
My docker won’t install it says “waiting for cache lock: could not get lock”
I would try restarted the VM/computer. Seems like something in apt is locking up for some reason
Docker-compose: commond not found
of course i dont wanna enable docker!!!
why would i???
What? :)
Thank you so much.
Thanks for your support!
@@Cybrcom I have trimmed the fat and solely focus on your platform so I can strike gold.
@@AnthonyMcqueen1987 you got this! Let's do it
@@Cybrcom So sick of these hackers who bitch against using tools. To me that is working smart and getting the job done.
