I was rooting for Punk the entire tournament but I was also heartbroken to see you lose Adel. Your level of sportsmanship and integrity was on full display and was amazing to watch. After what I saw this year I'll be rooting hard for you to win EVO next year. Good luck at ESports World Cup!
I agree with this statement. 2 of my favorite players. Next time the trophy is yours. Your Rashid is on a completely different level!
No matter how GREAT all of these finalists played, there will always be only one winner; there will always be one 'mistake'(often just a 50/50 guess and no REAL mistake); there will always be some feeling of 'if only they did THIS(which ignores the fact that their opponent will react to that and thus any one change is no guaranteed win); there will always be people who question your decision making when in reality, they would have crumbled to the ground, melted, and burned a hole through the floor under such pressure.
There can be only one winner, but there SHOULD NOT be only 1 player proud of how well they demonstrated their AMAZING talent.
Don't forget that, Adel.
Be determined to look at the MOUNTAIN of positives in your showing here, and not the very few negatives. You made great strides for yourself in your play, and for the FGC with your sportsmanship.
Learn, Grow, Build on this and keep charging forward. You might be SHOCKED how many people will be rooting for you, in future outings.
*_You EARNED that._*

I wouldn’t exactly call the level 2 a flowchart but it was definitely the most comfortable option in a last game last round setting

The interesting part is that when reviewing the match Punk said that once you threw him into the tornado he relaxed cause he'd get his drive back too. It just goes to show that both of you are in the right state of mind so to speak. Even so, your analysis here is very good, the forward throw was just the result of an early activation, probably because tension was high and you wanted to stack as much advantage as possible. It's fascinating how in SF6 these decisions stack up amidst the resources you gotta manage. That's what makes the game so good imo.
Getting Nephew's analysis of his run as well, he totally agreed that his decision-making and play was affected with the fatigue of grinding through Losers bracket. Especially he ripped through the World Warrior tourney next weekend through Winners. Being just that much larger of a tournament really affected a lot of the top players who got dropped into Losers.
Punk being in Winners was a big advantage. Still... huge credit to BigBird that he was able to get within one single round of Evo despite that.
This game is trash. DR and DI = No real footsies skills.

Regardless, you performed amazingly! I was on the edge of my seat the entire match. You're taking EVO next year!
I love this video, perspective.
In a sea of "How I did it!" We get this excellent "How I didn't do it lol"
You put on a great performance with a lot of clean play and showed a lot of sportsmanship at EVO. Good shit man, you gained a fan. Next time 💪🏽
as a side-note you are coming in quiet, future videos you should turn down the music
Also a fan of yours now. Quality character bearing in all regards. Great play, next time man.
Awesome video , really enjoyed the in-depth analyses. You played amazing and should be happy with the outcome it was an awesome fight
"losing Evo" is pretty harsh when you got 2nd haha,
but I understand that every competitor would probably think that way.
Just a matter of time till you'll win it, so lock in!
You make a great point! Punk said it was the jump in. But he jumped in ONLY BECAUSE he had plenty of drive gauge! #Key 🔑
This is a really helpful analysis and if I might say you seem to have quite a healthy attitude toward the loss. I have to say the grand finals was some of the best street fighter I've ever seen and I hope you are very proud of your remarkable performance . You absolutely have the makings of an EVO champion, my friend. I can't wait to see you finally get that title whenever it happens.
Watched your Evo run from start to finish and you played SF6 like a madman😤 maybe not this year, but I definitely see you becoming the next Evo champ ☝🏻
Great sportsmanship and break down. You played amazingly well. Keep doing what you do Big Bird and Angry Bird. FGC needs you both.
I gotta give both of y’all credit, this set was an amazing showing of character knowledge and fundamentals. Punk clearly was willing to sacrifice health to build meter as shown by him parrying not once, but twice on the back foot on LAST GAME, LAST ROUND of Grand Finals. The commitment to resources is something that only pros think about. You played phenomenal, Bird, and you’ve made a fan out of me.
Punk agrees with this impeccable analysis. In his own words, "since he [Big Bird] forward threw me here [into the tornado] bro, I was like 'Oh my God, I got another chance.' I thought 'this is my last one. This is my last chance right here. He did not back-throw me. I can get drive gauge back from the tornado, take another throw and we [are] back in.' "
Regardless of what happened, the fact that you were able to make it such a close match says a lot about your skill. You'll be winning a lot going forward. Know that for sure
You played absolutely incredibly on that stage. You're one of the best competitors in the world!
Bigbird your next champ! Just believe. Do you play very wel. The best Rashid the world!
I loved watching you play and this analysis made me an even bigger fan. Ill be cheering for you at the world cup!
You both played and represented yourself amazingly. Appreciate getting to see both yours and punks thoughts about how these last moments played out. Good luck at ESWC! 🎉
You might have lost Evo but you gained a lot of fans and admirers.
What a great educational video. Thank you for this. You did a good job at the tournament and made a new fan.
Big Bird v Punk matchup never disappoints im glad it came down to yall two so i aint have to choose who to cheer for 😂
Ayo this man made a fan for life with this video.
One of the most hype grand finals ever!!! Still waiting for the Rashid guide!!!
Boring grand finals
U are the real evo champ in my eyes Adel , best comeback ive seen in a long time , keep it up brother will be rooting for u in your next championship 💪
That anti air miss bro smh
That took my heart out
As a huge Punk fan, thanks for the video from your point of view. I have new found respect for you and your understanding of the game.
You started so well going hard on every set . Came down to decision making as soon as I saw you throwing Punk towards the tornado I knew Punk had another chance. Even Punk said the same .
I never realized Rashid's level 2 gave the opponent so much drive gauge. That makes what's normally a really oppressive move so punishing to throw out mid-screen.
Ummm not at all lol. This was very situational and Big bird admitted he messed up and ultimately got outplayed. Rashids level 2 is still broken and can be used anywhere at anytime lol.
@SHendrixx2 I never said it wasn't extremely good. I said there exist situations where this move can absolutely bite you in the ass if you're careless and not enough people consider that.
It's not really punishing to throw out midscreen. The opposite, in fact. It's a very very rare situational moment where it's punishing to throw out midscreen.
Normally the Rashid can react and throw you out of parry if you try to parry the SA2 midscreen.
@N00BSYBORG I hear you, but I disagree. The way the move is designed currently, it can't bite you unless you get outplayed. It's the player not the move
Your performance was fantastic. You are one of the best players in the world and you showed it. I would be shocked if you don't get an EVO.
Yes, Big bird is one of the best...but unfortunately he's NOT the best.
@@universalman5861 Yes, but all it takes is to be one of the best to win. He has two second place finishes and few people on earth can say that.
Great run man. I hope you win it all next year 💪🏾
You did great man. You showed everyone the great player and person you are.
In a couple of years, you too will have your Redemption Arc and I'm all here for it
That's a great break down. That's the challenge with any type of choice. You make the best choice you can do and sometimes that can't/doesn't take into account everything there other person or situation will throw at you.
Great high-level breakdown. Luv hearing and seeing what the top pros see.
Thanks for the analysis was really cool. Your awesome
that throw into tornado was truly a bruh moment.
Adel. i promise that after years, you will become a legend 💪🏽
Thank you for bring us one of the best grand finals Ive seen so far your Rashid wach people in EVO man.
Win or lose I LOVE hearing pro players breakdown their matches….the level of thought involved from moment to moment is so overlooked, that it’s crazy...and EVERY button counts ESPECIALLY in high stake matches like these…I hope the evo channel do a “matches that made me” documentary on you 2 just to hear more breakdowns of important matches you guys have been involved in
Overall, again, u n punk put on a show! And ur still my fav Marisa player even tho uve officially dropped her…will def continue to root for you in the future! Ull def be next to break the curse when u win evo next year! Keep up the training and continue to get better! Ur not far from raising that trophy
youre great for this analysis!!
Man you played so well congrats making the finals and you will be back !!!!!
Yo! Your Rashid is the best bro. Way better than Gashikun! That final had me on edge. You will definitely win it next year. Best of luck!
You played so well man, you should be nothing but proud. Champion level play.
your are a champ bro, lost or win evo will not remove that. Great game
You had a lot of momentum from the bracket reset to getting the perfect before final round. Would've been epic to see the birds win back-to-back, but can't dwell on the past!!
You and Punk just had an evo 37 moment. This time, Punk was Daigo and you were Justin. Yet, I think you, Punk, AngryBird and MenaRd are the new gods of Streetfighter.
Hard luck bro … you are awesome 😊
holy, the first minutes are gold.. I probably would never think about this in game, neither as cammy or rashid
Hardluck bigbird, you were deserved the evo champion, but i think the 1:25 is the main reason why you lost, you hesitate to do anti air.
Insha’Allah next time you will win evo.
I dont think its was hesitation. I feel like he wanted to walk under jump in and punish to regain corner pressure. He just misscalculated distance under this insane pressure.
@@PiotrZieniewiczif that was his thought i think its worse than just not doing the anti air ngl cause punk was in no way close enough for the jump in to be walked under
He knew Punk had 3 bars and was looking for crouch MK DR. That's why BB missed anti air. Everything goes back to giving Punk some drive bar in exchange for 2 throws worth of damage...
Man ur one of the smartest sf player I've seen. Even ur break down of this has a wealth of info. Really rooting 4 u at capcom cup
"All good things come in 3s"
Hope the third EVO finals will be your big win
You put up a great show brother, I was rooting for both of you 💪
The pressure and exhaustion in the loser's bracket is a unique challenge in any esports.
Other esports titles like Dota 2, CS, and LoL have stopped giving a one-game advantage or any other advantage to the team coming from the upper bracket to the grand finals due to the immense pressure it puts on the players mental stack.
I would never come to the same conclusion, it was a great detail you noticed!
At the End of the day bro you already won! Even LI Joe gave you your props especially after he tried to dis you at the last Red Bull Kumitie event. Keep going Champ P.S your still a Bushinryu master deep down 👊🏿
Better luck next time. Your Rashid was next level!!
Hey bro amazing performance! You will get your evo!!
Not easy to analyse a tough loss. Way to go brother!
its amazing the competition came down to such a tiny thing.
You're the best sf6 player for me nonetheless with the second bird of course 🐦
Yall always go hard, but you got NEXT brother. Believe it
Super nice retrospective. Next time you will have this in the pocket!
You played AMAZING the whole tournament even though you may not have won that last match. It's great to see you break down the match. Keep up the great work!
Great breakdown! No one knows better what happened than you and punk.
I learned a lot thanks big bird
You played really well, u just didn't block lol 😂
You and Punk gave us one of the best Finals on EVO. Congrats and thanks for your amazing performance
A Grand final where I wanted both of you to win man. But Punk went through hell and high water so it's his turn. I'm s FIRM BELIEVER that you will win it next year.
It was a great match don't beat yourself up too much about it but that was a good thorough breakdown everybody says it was because the jumping in attack but I think you're right he gained those Drive gauge bars and was able to win.
Punk said he knew as soon as he hit the jump in, that he won. He said he knew how the whole sequence would play out
great set for both
hope you win the next evo
relax friend, you will definitely win EVO, you are playing a lot, I'm sure your turn will come
Was rooting for both players, but the pain was palpable on everyone's face when they lost, esp yours.
Imagine you won, the birds winning the first two sf6 evos? Wild
Im so happy for Punk but you will be up next bigbird
If you learn something from a loss, it is no longer a loss. It is experience.
Punk winning winners finals is basically what lead to this moment in the end
So unfortunate, so very very unfortunate.
I see now why it hurts 😭😭
One little mistake destroyed everything... Gosh I love FGs
the music is too loud where can I find the stream?
You are the truly champion to me! Capcom cup and Evo Japan its your Alihandulillah!
Hi Big Bird I am not pro at SF6 … but I think Camy kryptonite is Blanka
Ok so it was the grab, and getting him to the tornado and not the corner right?
Else he Wouldnt have built drive
Was an amazing set nonetheless, be proud
here's the TLDR: he threw him into the tornado
You didn't lose Evo, you lost its grand final. Only the very best will get there. #2 is still huuuuge bro'. 👍
I never would've guessed letting Punk get his Drive Guage is the reason you lost. SF6 is complicated.
I just thought Punk shouldn't have a Dive Kick! 😊
Neither of you lost in my book. You played well and put on a show. You let Punk know it wasn’t going to be easy at all and you were apart of an iconic moment in EVO. Looking forward to your redemption arc EVO 2025!
What happened in that jump? It was suposed to be a ant air? You thought it was an empty jump?
Dive kick, empty jump etc.. It is incredibly difficult to traditionally anti-air Cammy.
Habibi you are still world best! Next time you got it. Is it possible to play custom match against you ft5? Big fan of you and angrybird
So I guess corner > tornado? Like it would have been best to let the tornado go and just take the corner with an opponent low on drive gauge?
If I am being completely honest here as both a fan of the Birds and Punk this game was actually BigBird's game to lose. Big Bird had the momentum from the EndingWalker win and then the reset win. Punk was losing to him quite and the fight was relatively one sided. At match point the moment I saw Rashid SA2 come out I was out of hope for Punk. Rashid SA2 just immediately lets Rashid dictate the flow of the match and the enemy basically just has to make a correct guess or they get mixed hard. I wasnt exactly sure how he could have done better when I watched the fight live but now when he breaks down the fight you can see the little mistakes he made which allowed Punk to capitalize and comeback. This game was definitely a really even game. The skill level wasnt the issue here but Punk was just a little bit luckier. Small mistakes here and there are what determine the win in a International Tournament like this. Well Played to both players because I was legit screaming in jumping in my seat watching this set.
Any particular reason for which you got hit by that jumpin? I don't see any counterhit so you were probably not doing anything. Maybe a stupid question, but sorry I'm not a high level player.
It's honestly ridiculous that they haven't buffed Rashid lvl 2 to not give back drive bar on parry. No wonder he's bottom 20.
Edit - jokes aside, thanks for the analysis. You'll get em next time!
U should do this analysis with punk
Bro you convinced me you the best Rashid. That’s all I know.
Hearing you persective on this set is interesting.
Punk cracked and jumped in ….you went for light mixer but you was expecting that corny drive rush I know
that's deep
