- Serving National Service at the time, Tierney struggled to see hope in his life and feared constantly what his next day would be like - till he no longer wanted to see the next day.
Facing suicidal thoughts and eventually being on the brink of the act, a sudden change in perspective rocked Tierney's world and shaped him to become the man he is today.
Healing, he noted, came through community for him, in the following months and years. It was friends and family who banded together and loved him incessantly, that reminded him of his value, on Earth, and in heaven.
