@@KevinKessler Does this plane only have 1 servo for each aileron?? I'm going to be building the Balsa USA 1/3 scale Super Cub this winter and I'm wondering how many servos per control surface it recommends. Also would an EME 70cc autostart engine be fine? I see you have a DLE 85 engine... that's kinda overkill right?
@@nationalistfanatic6291 I used 1 serveo for each surface. I used all digital JR8711 and JR8611 servos and one JR8411 for the throttle. Yes, the DLE85 is overpowered by a long shot on wheels, but will work great on floats. I use a 30cc EME electric start on a 1/4 scale Super Cub with foats and it works great. Here are a few links to old youtube videos of the electirc start on floats. ruclips.net/video/TWhpqhPC5w4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/4R0aYsP8d9w/видео.html ruclips.net/video/82jCCn3nt18/видео.html
Really great video! Thank you! The only critique I might give is that, particularly for VR headsets like the Oculus line, having the plane pivoting around the camera can tend to cause nausea or vertigo as it gives the feeling that you're totally detached and just floating. What I would suggest is to disable world lock (or what ever your particular camera calls it) for shooting. This will allow the viewer to face forward and look around at will
This is a 360° spherical video, 360 VR (Virtual Reality). Try moving your mouse over the video while holding your right mouse button. If your mouse has a scroll option you can zoom in and out. Viewing 360° spherical videos on your phone or tablet using the youtube app is also a lot of fun. You simply need to move your phone left/right and up/down. For the ultimate RC Plane Ride of your life, try viewing on a VR headset. My son has an Oculus Quest and it feels like you are in the cockpit of the plane. Not all of the 360° video I have uploaded will do this. I edited some of them and controlled the view to make it look like the camera was mounted on a 3 axis gimbal. Now that's fun ! First time I've seen this ! I did have trouble with yaw because the Cub didn't have rudder pedals ! Great video, well done ! By the way, with 800 feet of runway a real J3 could use this field !
Was almost sure it was a camera angle trick until 0:50. Impressive work.
You've really raised the bar for inside cabin rc video. Well done !
Absolutely awsome
Fvac represent!
Cool man
Cool good job
i wanted to be able to see the hard work of servos!
Greatest ride ever!!! You need to watch the video in a swivel office chair.
I need to hang on tight with a headset on.

ingenious!
Now I want to put one in my cub
This is fun👍!!!
I love videos like this! I imagine that's exactly what it would look like if you were flying a real Cub.
I'd like it much better if it was front view only, but it is a very realistic experience
Hey, i was told there would be snacks on this flight 😋
The engine has some bass in it, normally they seem to sound very high pitched.
Thats amazing! Wow
Great view 👍
Very cool! Nice cabin work too. Thanks for sharing!
Very cool
Wow this camera view is amazing
RESPECT!!!
CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY🙏🙏🙏
wow ..

Would have been better if the camera was kept still instead of rotating and conflicting with the user.

Insta360 came out with a feature called "Direction Lock" and I used it on this video. ruclips.net/video/L8kdyBzpZpE/видео.html
How can you dislike this?
it would be nice if you put a hamster inside
Nice ! Good job!

The camera is an Insta360 ONE R. I agree with you. I need to figure out how to do that and see if it is possible to do it after recording.

Very cool, love it! How is the movement of the camera controlled? I’ve flown a cub and it looks pretty real.
