One of the best days of my life. With my ice partner of twenty five years, eight degrees F, snowing, blowing, spindrift avys every five minutes. On my way home, at the top of the Kanc, there was a huge moose standing in the road. The sky was clear in a circle above, and the moon was full. Every time he blew a breath it made a big cloud.
Did this in WI4 conditions ice direct a couple weeks ago - a lot of history behind this one. The first ascent done solo by a teenager in a storm! Wild stuff ... Great videos keep them coming!
Amazing video man, hoping to get on this climb this season! I'm a big drone fan and have a Mavic Air 2, I was just curious how you worked with the drone laws here, as I see there are drone restrictions in Franconia State Park. Did you take off from farther out on the road?
@@ChaseTheSummit I was in the White Mountains filming my stay... I got to see some cool Water Falls and awesome Locations etc.. I was there for the 1st day of Autumn 🍂...

Best images of the Black Dike so far!
Amazing video. Aerial shots are a must in climbing to paint the whole picture. Wanna to do climb this someday. 🙂
Thanks!
Is the runout skiable? The very very bottom looks filled in enough to ski. The part shown at 0:22
Maybe with enough snow cover. It's usually quite rocky.
Led that in the 80's with a set of 45mm straight shaft Chinouard's, FootFangs in my ASOLO's. Those were the good ol' days:)
Absolutely stunning 👏😮
Thank you!
Yukon gold next ?
Wow, amazing, imagine it if snowed enough (like in Pinkham notch) to fill that in
That would take some serious snow! This cliff is quite a bit steeper than Tucks. Thanks for watching!
Just amazing!!!!! Wow
Thank you!
This is insane. You've got "cojones" my friend. Beautiful video.
Haha! It's funny how this sort of thing starts to feel "safe" if you do it enough. I need to shake the cobwebs and get out this season.

Or is it on the opposite side of the park that isn't in the Franconia State Park zone?
There’s a lot of red tape in the area but there are legal take off/landing locations not far from the climb.
Amazing video and scenery. What is the name of the amazing
song used?
I forget the name, but the song is from an artist called Ooy. Thanks for watching!
Sick!!!
Thanks!
I was just there filming! 👊 cool
Nice! What were you filming?
