He had a good partner with Kate the news reader few years back got to 4th place too..but he seems to have forgotten .

But the fact is when he has spoke of his previous partners he only did about the hopeless ones and acted like he never got far before now ,to be honest I don't really like him and wish Emma had someone else I think watching him last night he looked uncomfortable letting loose and Emma could've shown this week's ago with a different partner.
Gold Rose well I think he’ll be going once the season ends. He looks stiff in this as well.
You can see it in her face she is just having a lot of fun and that’s what dancing is all about.

Well it look like they were having fun out there. Granted it felt and looked like a dance that should have been done earlier in the series instead of the semifinals but what can you do. There was some elements that were okay, there were some mistakes, however maybe it was first one out jitters... *7*

Doesn’t really deserve to win Emma is the poorest contestant out of Kelvin and Karim and its meant to be the best couple not pro that wins it so even if he was the best pro which I wouldn’t say he is he shouldn’t win it because they aren’t the best out of who’s left they already out lasted better couples

Agree it wasn’t even that bad it was competent and I think Anton actually put in some decent recognizable Cha Cha content it a wasn’t perfect but it was a cute and competent Emma really lit up the room with her spirit
It's because its the semi finals and now she is a finalist. The quality is not good enough for this late stage.

It was a poor performance especially for the semi finals it was very basic choreography she’s still taken tiny steps her legs were weak and she was lacking hip movement in fact it was one of the poorest cha chas this season the only thing keeping her in is her fans Kelvin and Karim are both much better dancers and performers it will be a real shame if she beats either one of them she already outlasted the better female dancers

Pretty Basic Cha Cha Cha for me. Simple steps and Content and it did sort of lack any leg or hip action. However, She has improved in confidence in Latin and I could feel the energy and excitement in this routine! Nice and Easy Routine to start of the semis! 7!

Colin Jackson did a rag doll dance, and this is Anton's blow up doll dance. Emma portrays characteristic vacantly crazed gaze and wide open mouth exceptionally well.
I really want Emma Karim and Kelvin to be in the final but I want so see Chris’s face if he gets through
I know everyone will have different opinions on this dance, but I think it’s ridiculous how she was given this in the semi-finals. But I think no matter when this dance is given it’s hard for anyone, like 3-4 couples have been kicked out this series from the Cha Cha. So I’m not sure if it was fixed but her Waltz was stunning and really made her shine. But also going out first is quite nerve racking, when she knows it’s hard; plus having a pro that isn’t that great at latin himself.

Her legs were giving me anxiety and she’s still taken tiny steps surprised she’s made it this far must have hardcore fans because this is definitely not a semi final performance she can’t compete with Kelvin or Karim
A cute Cha Cha it wasn't perfect nor her best but Emma has such a good spirit to her overall cute Cha Cha not bad at all i hope she's in the finals i'd score it an 8/10

Well I mean Emma is through and probably will never have to dance Latin again, as by the looks of it the judges will pick her rumba. Plus Cha cha cha is one of the most difficult dances in Latin, and Anton isn’t to confident with Latin himself

It wasn't her best dance but it was still good. She lost her balance a few times but her spins made up for it. It did feel start and stoppy, great new yorker and lovely jazz. The cuban breaks weren't continual but still good. A strong performance and another dance that shows that Emma really can Latin. Her arms were good and she felt alot more confident and relaxed. Her footwork wasn't bad but more hip action would have been nice. *8/10*

Not the level you don't want to see on the semi final, however it is OK. Cha cha cha is a difficult to master in a short period, cause its a unnatural movement ( lock steps, straight legs in the walks while maintaining hip movement). This song gives me the feels tho. Reminds me of Bindi and Val Cha cha of Dwts!
Jeffry Matias de Jesus I was surprised her Cha-Cha was done so late in the game. It’s normally an earlier dance for the celebs because they’ve got more time to spend on it. However, it didn’t look under-rehearsed, so that’s good. She enjoyed it; that’s great and you could see it. The choreography from Anton was SURPRISINGLY ok seeing as he’s not a Latin expert. Her top line was good and her footwork was ok. It needed a bit more attack, but when you compare it to her other Latin this was a big improvement! Their connection too! It definitely stood out this semi final. I know they’d sorted it just before Blackpool, but you could really see it tonight in both dances. I think they’re going to be in with a chance. I think it’ll be between her and Kelvin.
So glad Anton has had a good partner on his last year so sad he’s leaving tho 😢😢😢

mariam No it was not, I know a lot about the Cha Cha Cha and Emma had some great technique executed well. She had some little hiccups but a very justified score.

Belle Anderson she had zero technique sloppy foot work, week legs, her frame and arms weren’t horrible but could of been better and it really lacked hip movement
N Al they had much more complex choreography this was quite basic especially to be making mistakes on and in the semifinals they were generous in their scoring

That was one of the best Anton’s latin dance
Because although they had mistakes they had fluidity, musicality and dance ability. A mistake doesn't make a bad dance, but this just wasn't good enough.
The other dances also had more complex choreography

It wasn't Emma dance, sadly. Too many errors. Not a good start to the semi - final. The only positive things in this dance were arms and her musicality. Emma's actual footwork was weak. She didn't straight her legs at all, and because of that she wasn't able to produce the hip action, which is so, so important in this dance. There was not one step really she did correctly. Sadly, it a 5 from me.

I take back what I said five months ago. I've been taking his online dance and fitness lessons that he gives on his RUclips channel, and Anton CAN do Latin. His hip action is astounding -- it's just that the routines he does on Strictly don't give him a chance to show just how good he really is in Latin!

I thought this dance was the worst of the night, and yet I knew the Judges would feel differently. It's odd because they seemed to forgive all of the mistakes in this dance, but slanderised any issues with the other Dancers. It just felt off.
