Dr. Joe Hughes truly was my friend and brother and his wife. They were truly a blessing and like my family. I live in his house and learned so much from him. We traveled so many times to Helen Arkansas to visit our pops Dr. P.L. Perkins and the Hughes family. He taken me in like as a little brother! I truly miss him!! I remember trips out there to Dr. Joseph Foxworth in California..Man great days
My home town man, Helena, Arkansas his entire family is awesome especially his sister "The Hughes Singers" his brother Arthur Hughes still pastors around our hometown, it was sad at Joe's passing while pastoring in Memphis, TN
