8:28 Q.84 is not weird, you are thinking it to be a modern history qus ,, but it is not It was asked because flag code of India was amended in aug 2022 so its current affair qus
That may be the case, but personally I think that that question was a bit much. Even if you had read the amended flag code remembering the 6-7 exact dimensions shared there is a tall ask.

Good evening sir! I started my preparation from August this year and currently I am in BTech final year. I have gone through NCERT of polity, geography, modern history and economics once. Then I read spectrum and Laxmikant once.for economics, I have watched Mrunal sir’s lectures but haven’t gone through through handouts. Then I did my optional anthropology 30% . I have read The Hindu since august only and no monthly magazines. The problem is that I haven’t given any time for revision. Please let me know what’s my position right now and what can I do from now onwards. I haven’t taken any tests or answer writing and preparing with self studies.

You can't clear UPSC 2024 in 5 months but ofcourse you can't clear in any cost if taking my course!
Taking any course is immaterial. If you're starting from scratch - it's hard to cover the vast syllabus and be comfortable in 5 months.

Solid plan. Keep executing. I'd suggest giving more full length tests in April/May.

Till about 20th of Jan - continue with optional. Then switch to Prelims prep.
Sir please give your input, I did with 70% of classes and two prelims mocks with very low score.
Can I go through for 2024 even till mains?
1-2 low scores don't matter. Now it's a game of review and revision with plenty of testing to increase that low score.

Sir, i have done basic reading and notes but stuck in answer writing. So, what should i write first main pyqs or mains test series for GS ? Because everyone talk about writing mains test and only seeing mains pyqs.
Writing mains PYQs can be a great practice. Provided you get some model solutions to compare your answers to.
