That's one of the best examples of how the media can completely change the meaning of what someone said by leaving out the context. In the original interview the quote was lifted from, Jon was talking about how strange the music industry is, and how success in one place doesn't guarantee success in another. That was when he mentioned Robbie, as someone who he thought was very good, but for some reason he didn't understand never broke in the US. That's where the 'fill a bar' thing comes from.
maybe he doesn´t care about every single person but at least ha takes part in an asociation and help people with his money and power which is much more than what other famous people do
Jon doesn't loathe the Gallagher brothers, he's said on several occasions that he thinks they're incredibly talented. He's said the bickering between them is a bit childish, but that's simply true, and doesn't mean he loathes them. He's hung out with Noel at least (Noel's mentioned that, calling Jon a very nice guy). Jon's said several times before that he really likes Robbie's music too.
I'm not sure about all that but their was how many people in the round table (4) and every one of them was focused on JBJ and besides that doesn't take into account that JBJ was most likely in shock watching the news from afar that the Jersey Coast had been destroyed ..... but anyway good day to you
That surprises me as in 2013 Jon sang "Let me entertain you" at his UK concerts. Equally Robbie sang "Livin' on a prayer" in 2017. I think Robbie is more known in Europe than Globally. Thats fair to say. Maybe thats what Jon meant by it.
He didn’t say he didn’t like him. He was saying how massive he is but cant fill a bar in America and was talking about musicians who haven’t made it in America. He has always spoke well of the guy and covered him in concert
Who has two songs Robbie I'm an American and I have all his albums till this day he packs stadiums to the rim.. do some research on this man it'll blow you away
@zimuqian he did say that yes, but he was only describing how bon jovi were global whereas robbie is only a national hit. he said 'I mention a name like robbie Williams respectfully, but he couldn't sell out the teensiest place here' instead of reading an article i suggest you watch/listen to an interview to get the real story. i do however think robbie is shit
So well-spoken and genuine. What a pleasant guy.
This man is incredible 💓💓💓💓
I saw both RObbie and Bonjovi live :) so fortunate! :)
I miss Richie too.

Ego and confidence doesn’t make you a bad person, it can make you stubborn but not bad

Robert, you are sooo creative. Have you ever considered writing books for kids?
New Yorkers & New Jerseyians are suffering at this very moment...... so please do us all a favor stick a sock in it !!
Funny before he said he couldn’t stand Williams.
Robbie getting a lesson

u spelled skavlan wrong it's spelled with an A not an E
Jon doesn't like Robbie. Once he said "The guy can't fill a bar in the U.S."
That surprises me as in 2013 Jon sang "Let me entertain you" at his UK concerts. Equally Robbie sang "Livin' on a prayer" in 2017. I think Robbie is more known in Europe than Globally. Thats fair to say. Maybe thats what Jon meant by it.
That doesn't mean he doesn't like him. In fact I just saw a brand new interview of Robbie laughing about his lack of reckognition in the US.
He said yew... But wondering why. Because he admires him
He didn’t say he didn’t like him. He was saying how massive he is but cant fill a bar in America and was talking about musicians who haven’t made it in America. He has always spoke well of the guy and covered him in concert
Can you tell me which interview this came from?? Bet ya you can't.....
