    Seems like such a solid truck that aged well, mechanical-wise!
    I definitely still love the looks of this truck. Interior sucks, but is still pleasant to look at compared to a silverado of this era. It's unfortuanate it can't really tow, but that's fine for a simple cruiser! I might pick one of these up one day just for fun.

    This is not meant to be offensive, just feedback. I love that you're doing your own thing, and I really hope it goes well. I have found that I can't listen to your videos, because they actually put me to sleep. I'm not sure why this is, because I really dislike shouty youtubers, but this is too far the other way, I guess. Just wanted to give that feedback, since I truly do wish you well. Best of luck to you in any event!

    I loved this vehicle from the moment I first saw one. It should become a collectible classic… such a great looking pickup, and a brave decision to make it. Cheers Mike!

    For a 2004, if that vehicle 'lived' in my part of the country, Michigan, I'm betting you would have seen a LOT more rust under there. I have seen in my past roads looking white, but not from snow, but salt. Where I live, near Traverse City, they don't use as much salt as down state, there is more sand in their mix, for traction I'm guessing.

    • @Derf1313
      @Derf1313 Год назад +1

      Lol, yea it used to be more sand & only the intersection got salt, when it was warm enough. (Tho my first couple of cars had studs in the snow tires, lol!). It seems now everyone HAS to drive fast on dry, cleared roads, not be concerned about better driving habits... I'm 130 mi South of you...

      When it is too cold, salt does not work and they have to use sand or fine gravel...Welcome to Quebec with minus 35 Celsius winter nights !!

      @@1983dmd yeppers, I've seen the heaters they use to warm that sand & crushed stone as they spread it. Stays put very well, & continues to provide traction till spring, lol!
