You could fill that warehouse up with classic Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Astons, Maseratis etc. and Chris would still make a beeline for the old tractor in the corner while Rob gazes longingly at the XR2. Love it. Never change guys.
The D2 Audi S8 is a stone cold classic. All aluminium construction, legendary reliable engine 340 BHP 4WD double glazing, fantastic to drive. Youngest is 22 years old now.
Great video, it’s great to see Chris in his element. The channel has come a long way since he got over his shyness of a couple of years ago, keep it up 👌
That has to be the best day in I’ve had in a long time. Not moved a muscle and thoroughly enjoy watching Chris face as he enjoyed the walk around. Nice and dry this time anyway. Happy days! 👍🏻
That Rapier was indeed based on the Hunter. Rootes Arrow series. I had the Hunter 1725 GT in that colour. The Rapier was heavier, and tended to crack the doors around the hinges, and the door skin just behind the front quarterlight.
Lots of memories, I had a black XR2 from new. Great little motor. Austin 7 engine was the first engine I stripped down and rebuilt at junior school. Great video.
I have always promised myself that if I ever come into money I am having myself an MGA roadster, I did a YTS working on them in the late 80's and I loved them, definitely my dream car. Good luck Chris on your bidding tomorrow.
When i was a kid my dad had a hillman hunter and we went on holiday in it, my mum left her handbag on the centre console, little did we know at the time, her handbag was on the cigarette lighter and the weight of her handbag held it in for hours and it melted the whole centre console, my dad was not best pleased lol
Some lovely old motor's here fellas with a good selection of a bit of modern with a blast from the past which is still a great trip down memory lane 😊 take care fellas and stay lucky and healthy 👍 looking forward to Sundays video as usual 👍. 😊❤
It was interesting to see that Ford Cougar (1998-2002 'New Edge') version. It was sold in the USA under the Mercury brand. They used the Ford Contour/Ford Mondeo basic floor and suspension, and a different body. They were all made in a Michigan plant where Mustangs were later and still made. They were not a great seller in Europe. I had a 2000 model with the Ford 2.5 L DOHC V-6 also in silver here in New Jersey, USA. Some of those cars were lovely and rare today. I recall a teacher having a 3 door version of that DKW car here in New Jersey at a garage I used to hang out as a kid in the late 1960's-early 1970's.
I know you guys probably won’t be up for it but I think you should do two separate videos, one for us guys that are in to the 80s/90s stuff by Rob of course and the second one for the real oldies by Chris, I’m not saying you’re old Chris it just a different era, and I know I’d watch an hour of either one of you giving your knowledge and expertise 🏴👍🏻
Great video, as always, boys. My daily driver was a series 2a lightweight, and I had two series one land rovers in my garage. 30 plus years ago, I decided to move them on. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. 😢😢. Cheers.
Hi Rob, Chris has to watch you ride in on your Harley and lambo, nice to see a bit of nostalgia and this is right up Chris,s street, good to see you go along and film it but look on the smile on the face of Chris 😊
I use to have a Renault 5 GT Turbo with a Dimma wide body kit on it, it use to turn some heads.I love a walk around at a car auction you can't beat it.
Absolutely love these videos guys, they bring back so many memories, so much so, that you forget about these classics until you guys show us them!, great stuff, keep it up! 🤤👍
Got to leave rhe house at 7:90am so got to watch this dont know how i missed this one guys and it us now 6:15am on the dot thwnkdms fellas for another great video man!. 💫✨💫✨👌
Toyo tyres are very grippy and as such, they don’t last long. Had them on a Saab 93 I had and it was glued to the road but, they needed replacing after 5000 miles.
Hi Rob & Chris,, Some nice motors ,, I had a Triumph 1300 back in the 70s ,, you could change a clutch in about 10 minutes,, Happy Days , Keep em coming 👍🏻
That Sunbeam Alpine (the one based on the Hunter), will have the smaller 1500 engine and lower trim level, hence those black vinyl seats, not the part faux leather, part nylon cloth ones. Childhood memories of those vinyl seats on a hot day - ouch!!
Stretching the term “classic” for a few models as Rob said 😂 my Dad and Grandpa had Sunbeam Rapiers in the mid 70’s. The fuel crisis put paid to ours I’m told. I remember loving the frameless doors and rear quarters 😎
Unimog U404: 2.2ltr six cylinder M180 petrol engine, already obsolete when selected for this vehicle in 1955 and, yes, thirsty. Due to it's widespread military use in Europe, probably the most numerous classic Unimog but, unfortunately, the least desirable. Worth more as parts I'm afraid: the portal axles are often used in the build of 4x4 specials. Fordson Model N tractor: generally regarded as "The Tractor which Won the War". As Chris said, used with trailed implements. Probably starts on petrol, the switches over to TVO once warmed-up.
Some lovely cars there yet again 👍 that Willis jeep looked nice and those 2 lotus elans very nice such ashame. Would love to see Chris bidding on cars he's interested in 👍 I for one would like to watch another good one guys
Well done gentlemen. I am looking forward to taking up a new job in Ashford next month, and potentially moving to live there from Africa next year. Looking forward to snooping around the Hobbs Parker auction there in due course. I quite fancy that 405 GLD Estate, 213,000 miles. Happy days. Take care.
Very interesting video with a few rare items in there again. love the Fordson at the end. I can't believe all those wing mirrors you walked past and the only time you said it was when you were looking at the door mirrors on that Mercedes. Missed opportunities😂
I used to have a Ford Cortina 1600 and an Austin Maxi 1700 but haven't seen either of these on your channel as yet. I also had a Daimler Jag which had a crank handle to start it when the battery died.
You should do 2 videos, this one and a walk around of vehicles neither of you are interested in. If you only cover what you both like, you'll end up missing quite a bit every time.
If you both made separate videos. Chris would do 1940s and tractors. Rob would be 1980s aka the hot hatch era. Can’t wait to see what you bid/bought. Cheers lads
You could fill that warehouse up with classic Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Astons, Maseratis etc. and Chris would still make a beeline for the old tractor in the corner while Rob gazes longingly at the XR2. Love it. Never change guys.
"We don't want it to be an hour long"
Speak for yourself Rob, I want that 😂😂
Chris is drawn to the 60's stuff and Rob is drawn to the 80's fast fords. It's all shaped by what we remember as kids
You’re so right !
bit ungenerous to Chris there
The D2 Audi S8 is a stone cold classic. All aluminium construction, legendary reliable engine 340 BHP 4WD double glazing, fantastic to drive. Youngest is 22 years old now.
Great video, it’s great to see Chris in his element. The channel has come a long way since he got over his shyness of a couple of years ago, keep it up 👌
I enjoy these videos Rob & Chris is in his element when he catches a real old car needing some love. Thanks Lads. 👍👍👍
That has to be the best day in I’ve had in a long time. Not moved a muscle and thoroughly enjoy watching Chris face as he enjoyed the walk around. Nice and dry this time anyway. Happy days! 👍🏻
Love these videos have to say I’m with Chris in regards to what vehicles he likes rather than Robs likes, well done boys .
Always love a stroll through the auctions guys cheers
That Rapier was indeed based on the Hunter. Rootes Arrow series. I had the Hunter 1725 GT in that colour. The Rapier was heavier, and tended to crack the doors around the hinges, and the door skin just behind the front quarterlight.
A lovely trip round guys thank you. MGA will be yours then Chris😜!
We would love a hour long video lol , some lovely motors there , i do like these auction videos thanks lads
Love that tractor! My late father had a thing for old tractors and loved to look at them at state and county fairs. Thanks for sharing everything.
Lots of memories, I had a black XR2 from new. Great little motor. Austin 7 engine was the first engine I stripped down and rebuilt at junior school. Great video.
Chris goes home with the tractor😂
Some great nostalgia between those 4 walls 👍
I have always promised myself that if I ever come into money I am having myself an MGA roadster, I did a YTS working on them in the late 80's and I loved them, definitely my dream car. Good luck Chris on your bidding tomorrow.
Great vid. Love all your content but these auction episodes are brilliant.
What a bunch of lovely cars lads
Some lovely old motor's here fellas with a good selection of a bit of modern with a blast from the past which is still a great trip down memory lane 😊 take care fellas and stay lucky and healthy 👍 looking forward to Sundays video as usual 👍. 😊❤
Go on Chris, get the tractor we know you love it. Aussie Graham.

star of the show for me was that quattro, so cool. but the one i would drive away is 190e
Excellent video. We live in Kent but watching from a hot Tenerife! My wife had a 1977 MG Midget when we met....❤❤❤😊😮...I need to cool down.!
all very interesting, thanks guys
The passion in Chris’s eyes with that green tractor says it all 😍
Rapier sunbeam was my first car.. Some lovely things there..
100 years Rob, not the same company any more, that MGA is stunning
Love these auctions and the smile on chris's face lol. would like to get that white audi.
Looks like Chris has/had his eye on the blue MG 👀
Great video guys.

That pair of lotus is a win and the yellow three wheeler. Hope you win a few bids. Thank you gentlemen
Great video Rob and Chris 👍
Great video love the classics the Triumph. 1300 brings back memories my first car Blue for £75 .😂😂
Got to leave rhe house at 7:90am so got to watch this dont know how i missed this one guys and it us now 6:15am on the dot thwnkdms fellas for another great video man!. 💫✨💫✨👌
I predict Chris has a punt on the MGA, the big Healey and the Fordson.
Toyo tyres are very grippy and as such, they don’t last long. Had them on a Saab 93 I had and it was glued to the road but, they needed replacing after 5000 miles.
I had a sunbeam rapier back in 1984 , then I got a cortina mk3 GXL . Happy times .
Hi Rob & Chris,, Some nice motors ,, I had a Triumph 1300 back in the 70s ,, you could change a clutch in about 10 minutes,,
Happy Days , Keep em coming 👍🏻
that tractor is chris all over!
Chris in his element good luck with the auction ,hope to have alook at Chris collection one of these days
That Sunbeam Alpine (the one based on the Hunter), will have the smaller 1500 engine and lower trim level, hence those black vinyl seats, not the part faux leather, part nylon cloth ones. Childhood memories of those vinyl seats on a hot day - ouch!!
Something different well done lads. There was some cracking cars . Brilliant
Stretching the term “classic” for a few models as Rob said 😂 my Dad and Grandpa had Sunbeam Rapiers in the mid 70’s. The fuel crisis put paid to ours I’m told. I remember loving the frameless doors and rear quarters 😎
Good morning Rob and Chris, some nice looking cars, shame about the roll cage in the XR2. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.

Chris is like a big kid at this place 😂
Great videos guys, the best thing there in my opinion was the VW camper, that will go for a fortune.😀
It was a new style 2009 they don’t make what you think
Great video guys love seeing all those old cars there's one or two I wouldn't mind myself. 👍
hi rob and chris, love your passion for motors/modern and vintage, keep up the good work.
Live these ones - I’m an Ashford boy but haven’t lived there for nearly 20 years - I remember that place as new !! lol
What's going on guys, RS2000 on the thumbnail but not in the video.
Hello Rob and Chris,so many cars to choose from.that Renault 5 looked nice until the bonnet was opened 😅,but a nice collection of cars to view.
I like the old stuff like the Austin seven.
You guys did really well with that one. So much to see too! That Landy though makes me rub my legs Rick Mayal style.
Unimog possibly ex RAF. We used them for towing the Harriers in the field deployments etc.
It had French plates I think. 🤔
My garage would be the size of that hall if only I won the euro 👍👍👍👍😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That Defender is the dogs nuts 😂😂😂😂
What a lovely collection of cars, the Greeves motor bike was my pick, plus the Unimog.
It was celebrating 100 years of MG

What happened to the RS2000 in the thumbnail. I thought we would see that. Not like Rob & Chris to use clickbait 😂
Wife had triumph 1500 30 odd years ago and I had a 5 Gordini Turbo, she now only drives modern minis and I only do classic Japanese.😘🇬🇧
Just loving it so far great viewing 👍
Was looking forward to seeing the rs2000 in the thumbnail Rob
Chris = kid in a candy shop👍
Cracking video gents love a classic car auction 👌🏼
You can see the age difference,by the cars that you are interested in,but that’s what we love
like a kid in a candy shop ...beautiful cars....proper cars
Very interesting video with a few rare items in there again. love the Fordson at the end.
I can't believe all those wing mirrors you walked past and the only time you said it was when you were looking at the door mirrors on that Mercedes. Missed opportunities😂
Chris is looking smart
I used to own a sunbeam rapier in gold and the audi coupe GT 2.226 (none turbo version) Great cars
I used to have a Ford Cortina 1600 and an Austin Maxi 1700 but haven't seen either of these on your channel as yet. I also had a Daimler Jag which had a crank handle to start it when the battery died.
What does Chris think of his new Defender? About to take delivery of a D350 90. First batch into the UK with the bigger output engine 😊❤
I don’t think I’ve watched Chris so animated. Happy lad
the Ford Sierra 2.0 Ghia you could of shown more of that but you went to the sunbeam
yeah B reg, same as my parents had when I was growing up. Had a carphone built in from memory!
I had a Sunbeam Rapier Holbay some machine in its day twin Webber carbs overdrive on third and forth gear amazing to drive in straight lines
I need some more Ford Transit work van turbo swaps in my life lol
You should do 2 videos, this one and a walk around of vehicles neither of you are interested in. If you only cover what you both like, you'll end up missing quite a bit every time.
If you both made separate videos. Chris would do 1940s and tractors. Rob would be 1980s aka the hot hatch era. Can’t wait to see what you bid/bought. Cheers lads
Think we need an update on Chris garage. Didn’t he buy a small truck at an auction previously is that still knocking around?
see chris knows his cars new and old and robs more the profit man good combo
Hi Chris dove one on a small farm at 14 was a dream (Fordson Tractor) loads of pulling power good show and best buy is the for zodiac
great video lads lovely motors makes me feel old as used to own a couple back in the day
Brilliant video as always. Can we have an update on Chris's previous purchases, particularly the three wheeled truck?
No change 👍
Hi Chris Rob I had a red mk1 xr2 on a Y plate I loved it an I do prefer the mk1 as they was easier to know the models as mk2 s all looked the same
Why do I feel like singing’ Underneath the arches’. 🎵 🎵😉
Honestly such a good channel you guys are just amazing
Yeh Chris trying to convert Rob into old rusty shizzle while Rob gets excited on seeing the proper stuff XR2’s R5 GT Turbos 😂.
Always love your rebuild videos, but the auction ones come a close second. Pity you missed the Subaru, showing my mis-spent youth there.😎😎
The Defender is stunning.
