Thank you so much for the compliment and feedback! Means a lot and glad you enjoy the content I have made to help players understand cause and effect in the golf swing! Let me know if you ever need anything!
Positional relationships of the different body parts is helpful. Oftentimes trying to make a single change leads to other changes that impact the overall golf swing without realizing it. Thanks for putting it together. 😊
Are there many exceptions to your ideal trail leg position on the downswing? I noticed a lot of players on tour still turn with their feet and knees together (as you described) when hitting longer clubs in the bag. Akshay bhatia and Justin Thomas come to mind. I still do it because the move is pretty engrained from learning as a junior golfer. Provided that it isn’t causing any early extension issues, would you look to make any major changes in it or just accept that as a part of the individuals swing DNA?
There are players I coach who do what I teach here in the video and also what you are talking about! Depends a lot of setup, distance from the ball and also tendencies through impact (early extension, rotation, hip flexion, etc). What Akshay and JT do are great for the way they move the club (they use this get energy into the system early but also are able to get the energy out early enough). A lot of am’s create energy, but don’t get it out quick enough where this can hurt them if that makes sense. Let me know if you need anything for ever have any questions! TS

Love the content! Thanks Trevor
Thank you so much!!!
Awesome insight. Thx you TS
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this!!
Great vid as always. Would keeping a wedge under my trail foot help with the downswing to follow through?
It would! I also love to use a workout machine called Rotex that has helped and I also use a lot in teaching!
This was very useful information. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback! Greatly appreciate it!
Can this exact move be used for driver? Any modifications?
Yes it can! Only adjustment would be setup (stance width and spine tilt)
@ thank you so much!!
Thanks for the info!!!
You got it! 👊👊👊
Well done sir.
Thank you! 🙏
Pat Metheny is also a golf coach? Amazing. :) Great stuff in this video. Thank you
Haha! Thank you! Appreciate it!
So is being “open” really being internally rotated into the lead hip?
I would just say that I think this what I prefer to see out of most with how the pelvis moves in conjunction with the femur
Anther classic
Thank you sir!!!! 👊👊👊
