I'm not convinced that young voters aren't getting more conservative as they age; they're just not turning into Republicans. The Republican Party has for a long time been pretty far to the right relative to other conservative parties around the world, so a progressive GenZ-er could become "more conservative" by just becoming a mainstream Democrat, which is, in absolute terms, still a conservative.

I can't wait for the trial this month!! He has to take the stand under oath!!! This is the first time he's ever had to testify!!! He's always settled before a trial and never testified!!!
He's terrified and I'm looking forward to seeing him under oath!!!!

He doesn't actually have to testify due to the fifth amendment, and criminal defense lawyers generally try to prevent their clients from testifying. We can only hope that Trump overrules his legal team and insists on testifying (which might be just as simple as a bunch of people telling him he's too much of a coward to testify).

@@portmantologist His trial this month is the civil rape trial with the more recent defamation claim. It’s a civil case and he does have to testify. The fifth amendment is only if the defendant might have criminal liability (like in the Alvin Bragg case, or the one in GA). In this civil trial that begins a week from Tuesday, he’s been subpoenaed and he’s already given a deposition under oath. He has no criminal liability for the rape or defamation and he does have to testify.

I, for one, love the fact that Biden ISN’T in the news everyday. “Tearing families apart!” “Spending a bazillion dollars building a fence!” “Wants to charge the rich NEGATIVE taxes to help the economy.”
Turns out having a President who doesn’t treat every day like it’s Sweeps Week is a good thing.

What they don't understand is that progressive principles teach our youth how to think, not what to think. Hopefully this will pay off sooner than later. In Ontario, we are mounting efforts to possible General Strike, and as a Retiree, I'm so proud of our youth. Ontario Federation of Union Retirees have officially signed retired workers who wish to sign up to mentor youth as those of us who tread these paths decades ago. It's a bit ahead of the curve for us, and we thank your Labour and community leaders for speaking and sharing their experiences with us! Thanks

We do indeed, need to teach Gen Z and Gen X how to work, as a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran, railing from PTSD during the 70's and 80's raised three children often working two jobs or dangerous jobs no current 20 something or 30 something would even think would be a viable option

This “I had it bad so you should have it bad” mentality is gross. You could feasibly have afforded a house back in your day and college didn’t take your whole life to pay back. Not to mention the costs of child care now as opposed to then. Also saying people don’t work dangerous jobs is insane. People already have a full time job and then spend their nights driving strangers around working for Uber.
I think you need to work on that ptsd because I don’t understand why you want your kids to risk their lives daily just to survive. The anger is getting to you stop defending the system that did that to you.
