I love the Hannibal fight to bits. He's fast as hell and surprisingly strong, but you can hit him pretty much wherever and do decent damage, it's not like, say, daddy Dyaus where his wings get in the way constantly when he's downed and you're smacking his Achilles heels, or Quadriga where you just do no damage until you finally crack his front armour. The challenge really comes from hitting him in the first place. And given how speedy you are in this series, it's great to see something that runs circles around you, and not the other way around, but without ending up ten metres away after every attack like the Vajra and his reskins love to do.
i get why people use blood surge for them, but having paralysis shortblade is the best sword against him, mainly hitting his unarmored hand till he knocks down and when he doesn't keep hitting until he gets stunned, when he's stunned (which most of the time he is) hit the head till it breaks
To any God Eater fan, this OST is mythic. It reaches and emotions are so intense when you fight it...And when you discover the truth, you're aren't ready...
Whether you find him easy or hard, I will say that fighting Hannibal in any of his forms makes you feel like a total badass. That dragon is freaking awesome, and having this song blaring in the background only makes it even better to go toe-to-toe with him.

first time fighting Hannibal is scary especially his running claw attack, made me scream(even after killing it 10 times, i still scared by it) after i got caligula's sword(claudia) killed him under 3 minutes ps i finish the game with rank 6 equipment

Everytime I hear this music, I will be like... “Unsheathe your flames and fight me for real!” Well...I like breaking Hannibal’s scales since I wanted to fight it at it’s full power. And I liked one Hannibal type that forces you to break its scales or you won’t do a significant amount of damage.
It's not a fair fight if he is bound by shackles ;D and I can't stress it enough how friggin cool he is. Love fighting him unbound or not. Just a badass MF. Definitely my favorite aragami by far
It's really cool that Tyrant Hannibal is really tanky with the scale on but after breaking it, it starts doing devastating attack that can easily one-shot you and stun you if you're still alive. That Hannibal is the true definition of all or nothing
So glad I'm not the only one. I created a bullet specifically for destroying the reverse scale, and besides trading burst, I NEVER used the gun in GE games
Just fought him today in Resurrection. Surprised by how Hannibal was insanely easy to be honest. But it still manages to be the most fun enemy to fight and the theme sure helps.
If you really want a challenge, once you beat the game you get the ability to turn the difficulty up on every mission. It goes up 99 levels, with 1 being what you just fought. And that's not even taking into account the Hannibals on the higher ranks.
Me fighting Hannibal for the first time - "Hm, a Hannibal? Well, I've beaten Deusphages without too much trouble - except Susano'o and I took down Arda Nova without a sweat. How hard could it be? Oh, there it is. Huh, skinny looking thing - HOLY SHIT, IT'S FAS- *dead*" Yep. Hannibal is not for the unprepared, peoples.

IT does. Using piercing divine attacks do a heck load of damage, it gives Cinder Crystals / Phantom Stones / whatnot, and as I said, when it does that flame attack, it leaves gigantic openings both beginning and end of the attack, letting me whale on it all I like.
Randomly jumping in here, but the scorpion type Aragami are Borg Camlann. They were always time-consuming for me as well, but I've found that if you attack the face-shield, it is a much easier fight. At first it does practically nothing, but once you unbind it, attacks to it do massive damage and stun the Aragami a lot, keeping it from hitting you back easily. It's also the easiest part of the Borg Camlann to target singularly, so do that and I think you'll find fighting it a lot easier. XD
I managed to kill Hannibal within 15 minutes and only being incapacitated once. I owe my victory to the gear I used. I went in blind without knowing his weakness so I took a gamble and when with: Blood Surge (230 Sunder, 90 Freeze, 90 Spark) BOTH ARE HIS WEAKNESSES Type 60- Auto Gun II Thrudgelmir Leader Kit Mobility Kit Soma (Heavy Hitter) Sakuya (Medic) Kota (Completely by accident, I meant to swap him out for Alisa) I pegged his fighting style in 10 mins, then I counterattack for victory.
it has a blazing wing halo in its back, it can regenerate itself without core, name based on a serial assasin, most deadliest yet epic Aragami in the game *u*
It was the most unforgettable moment as soon as it pulls out those Wrist Blades, you are so screwed if you trying to dodge your way out of that. I'm looking forward seeing the red version of the Caligula in GE2. Hopefully they make it more 'bossier'
Yeah I always found that but even when I had a weapon strong against it, It took way too long and that 360 tail sweep was evil :( lucky I opted for a big shield also thanks for reminding me of the name dood. XD

Well, after I figured out Susano'o's blind spot (literally right under it), taking care of it was a piece of cake. I'm STILL not soloing a Prithi Mata or a Dyaus Pita unless my life depended on it. Or another Deusphage except maybe Zeus or Poseidon, cuz, let's face it, the Quadriga class and Sariel class aragami are pushovers.

I finished mine with rank 7 short blade freeze knife , rank 4 tower shield, and rank 4 assault gun.

Dan Farq With GE2 out Diabrosis (Rufus Caligula) may have taken that spot, but it's really close.
I like "The God's Feast Extravagance" from the first Caligula fight in GER a lot, but well "Merciless King" for me is still the best.
