good video, although not suprised to hear most of them talk about Amsterdam. the rest of the Netherlands is far from this lol, prostitution, coffeeshops, canals, tourists, tulips you would need to specifically look for them to even find them.
Well, they know more about the Netherlands than I know of Russia. Respect, although to me, I think we Dutch have to try to change the stereotypes a little.... They are really either too old, or not quite true. I think 90% of people in the Netherlands don't do drugs. Some young people do it regularly, but we don't have a real big drug consuming group here. What is a problem with two huge harbours and open borders is drug trafficking. That is huge.
@@alikkhusainov319 Drugs are not fully legalized in the Netherlands, but the drug policy in the country is based on the principle of tolerance or "gedoogbeleid." This means that the possession and use of certain drugs, such as cannabis, in small quantities are tolerated under certain conditions. There are several reasons why this policy was implemented: The tolerance policy allows the government to focus more on healthcare and harm reduction measures instead of prosecuting drug users. Decriminalizing drug use can encourage people to seek help for addiction problems without fear of criminal consequences. It aims to bring the drug market under control and combat organized crime. By regulating the sale of cannabis and other drugs, the activities of criminal organizations can be limited. Additionally, the government can levy taxes on drug sales, generating revenue. It enables the government to better control the quality and safety of drugs. In coffeeshops, where the sale of cannabis is allowed, products are tested for quality and potency, reducing risks for users.
Compact, clean, very efficient and pleasant public transport system (the sprinter trains are just a joy), lots of bicycles. Windmills, tulips, and canals and not as crowded away from the main tourist centres. I like the fact that you can travel to any city unfamiliar to you and still it is consistent, convenient and easy to navigate. Dutch people tall and polite. The atmosphere feels comfortable among them. I do agree with the sentiment that most places in Europe feel quite similar - just a neutral observation. The last place I visited in Holland was Peter the Great's museum in Zaandam - a bit of history well-preserved and accessible to visitors. Pleasant times.
Drugs are NOT legal in the Netherlands, not even weed. They police however lets you go if it's 5 grams or less weed, but technically you can still get fined and locked up. None of them left Amsterdam it seems, else they would have seen a completely different side of the country. That is if they even left the country and didn't get influenced by the Russian media that constantly lies to them. A mistake most tourists make. To compare it to someone visiting Moscow and then claiming it would be the same for all of Russia. It will likely anger Russians because the country has so much more to offer, specially because it's the biggest country in the world.

Nice video, but I have a question... what happened to Ë? I thought there was a law to enforce its use... but it seems Russians don´t care much about it...
@@Пирамидакуба well, the idea behind the law was to help foreigners to learn Russian easier... but Russians couldn´t care less, huh? Anyway... in another video, one of the girls spend some 8 minutes correcting wrong pronunciations articulated by the Russians themselves... that problem wouldn´t arise if Russians were less stubborn and recognize the importance of marking the stressed syllable... they insist it´s not necessary, but then again, they go on mispronouncing words... not to mention that most students fail to understand Pushkin´s poetry because they don´t know what the stressed syllable is...
@@duiliodelimaalmeida9374 I think it appeared, because we need to write by hand in school and you can't write that fast when teacher tells you many information, so most of people change capital letters to block letters and don't use Ë. Interesting to see how open they speak about a subject that is not related to politics but just an opinion about a European country. At least they are more positive about The Netherlands than about the United States. In the first half I thought: Well, they only talk about drugs and prostitution, but as being a Dutch person I can say; the drugs are way overrated. For real drugs, go to Colombia or Mexico. And it kind of saddened me that they knew nothing about our fights against the sea, being the world leader in waterworks, dikes and being the 2nd largest food exporter in the world. And let's not forget the technological advances there are in this country, mainly the company called ASML, which is the only in it's kind that can build machines that can build machines that build computer chips. It's a small country, but it's packed with super technological advances in many fields. But still, yes, the wooden shoes, tulips, cheese and wind mills are also still there. 🙂
Rotterdam has the europort one of the biggest and most sufficient harbors in the world, combined with a good in-land infrastructure to transport pretty much anything. We are a trade nation in between rich giants like scandinavia, germany, france and the UK and driven by capitalism. So if there is a market for drugs we will openly make use of it. And eventhough it's an official crime in the Netherlands to deal drugs. If the authorities seize dirty or laundered money, they will even tax it before seizing. We used to have a good tax climate for off-shore banking as well So even the government is hustling their way around.
11:12 There are plenty of things to complain about here in The Netherlands but ugly women is not one of those things, luckily! I went to Oregon, USA and Jersy, UK, and the percentage of pretty (/not fat) women in my country is atleast 50% higher!
Please my dear Russian friends, forget about Amsterdam, even the Dutch hate that place, it's a dump and a tragic crime that they've let it come this far. I can't believe this to be really true, but Russians seem only to value old and ancient cultural things and behaviour. If people in non-slav regions value these too, Russians consider them to be on the highest moral ground, or so it feels. It's a well-known empire state of mind, like "All outside our empire are barbarians".

Nice video, but I have a question... what happened to Ë? I thought there was a law to enforce its use... but it seems Russians don´t care much about it...
Russians just remember when Ё should be pronounced, so usually we write E, because it's more comfortable.
It may be make harder to learn russian on advanced level, but even if you will use E, people would just note your accent.
We used to have a good tax climate for off-shore banking as well
So even the government is hustling their way around.
11:12 There are plenty of things to complain about here in The Netherlands but ugly women is not one of those things, luckily!
I went to Oregon, USA and Jersy, UK, and the percentage of pretty (/not fat) women in my country is atleast 50% higher!
Quite a contrast from the other video haahh
Please my dear Russian friends, forget about Amsterdam, even the Dutch hate that place, it's a dump and a tragic crime that they've let it come this far. Forget about the provinces of South and North Holland, that's where all the depravity comes from. I live in Zwolle, a far far superiour city to Amsterdoomed, come visit Zwolle once, you'll like it!
Wow,.. they answered with drugs, red light district and that it has been legalized.
Why not if they knew about it? I didn't. I know just about tulips and that's all.
@@Natashanjka Interesting. Simply thought that was very interesting that so many thought those same particular things first. Honestly,.. had I not had family that lived there for a couple of years,.. I would have thought the same things. That is usually what people hear about. American here so,.. our culture is a lot more uptight about such things, so I have learned. So,.. yes. Why not? 🙂
@@Natashanjka Just checked your channel. I subscribed to you too. Trying to learn Russian,.. obviously, haha! Trying multiple approaches. So tired of using Google translate, haha. Have acquaintances in Kazakhstan so,.. just makes sense. Thank you for speaking your thoughts! I appreciate that! 😃
@@mentalcog2187 you're welcome. I can also invite you to a chat for Russian learners if you want.
Drugs aren't legalized. Soft drugs are tolerated, that's different. And most Dutch people don't use them. Tourists do.
The only nation/people truly disliked, in general, are the french. No disrespect.
why?)

I talked with the French and there was nothing like that, they always treat with respect.

11:12 seriously... ”Like regular Europeans, the women probably aren’t very pretty” (and you’re extremely pretty yourself)...
when do people understand drugs inst legal here. the state looks the other way.
And the war has begun. We need war vocabulary

420 to all Dutch people
I can't believe this to be really true, but Russians seem only to value old and ancient cultural things and behaviour. If people in non-slav regions value these too, Russians consider them to be on the highest moral ground, or so it feels. It's a well-known empire state of mind, like "All outside our empire are barbarians".
its clear the russians dont know anything about us :( exept for a vew things wich were mostly incorrect :( anyway :)
Talks too quick.

Coming from Russians that shot down Flight MH17
BS! They never did any such thing !! The Western installed Kiev Fascist coup regime had their air traffic control sent over the war zone. Russia was involved in the conflict. The only side with an air force that had in a jet in the sky at the same time as MH17 was Ukraine.
