Laura you have such a wonderful idea of combining your cross stitching with paper crafting. I can see your scrapbooks surviving forever whereas if they were just loose finished stitches, they might not. Thank you for your great idea.

Laura, this is brilliant! I have never stitched smaller projects because I’ve had no idea what I would do with them. I love this idea and I think it is something I could get on board with. You explain the process so well.
I always enjoy watching your videos. Beautiful stitching and scrapbooking ❤️

Every time I see you show these finishes I’m amazed, and I hate that others give you negative comments on it. In reality, so much ends up in the thrift store (at best) when the stitchers is gone…this is like a scrapbook of you, and much more mobile and easy to pass from one to another. I thank it’s the best idea ever for those things you stitched for the pleasure of stitching!!! Thank you for being you! Merry Christmas!!!

I've been meaning to come watch this video for quite a while. It was very fun to watch. I do needlework finishing and am an avid paper crafter. I've been trying to think of a way to put both together and this is great. Many new ideas floating around in my head! Thank you so much!!!!!

This was fun to watch! Thank you for sharing! I also have tons of paper crafting supplies and I also stitch a lot of things I don’t want to frame. I had just told my daughter that I was thinking about mounting the stitched pieces on card stock in a notebook - so we could look at them and yet they would stay clean. And then I see your video! So cool!

Thanks, Laura! I've been wondering about your scrapbooking ideas. I have so many pieces stitched, but haven't taken them any farther. I think this may be the answer. Right now, they are just in piles in drawers, not where I can enjoy them! Love your ideas, and the fact that they aren't overyly blinged out. Very nice. I like things not being absolutely symmetrical. I know it drives some folks nutty, but I like it.

Oh my! What an absolutely wonderful idea!!!! 😊. I’m a card maker & have so many of the products you’re using. I also have several finished cross stitches & am not sure how/where to display. I’m over 65 & restarted stitching regularly a year or so ago. I already have photos & other items on our walls & there’s not much more room (& I don’t necessarily want more on the walls 😂). Anyway, this is a great way to “finish” them, so I (& others) can admire, but not take up wall space. I did have a special, large glass display bowl that I added a few small pillows to, but for me, a little goes a long way. Anyway, so happy to have found you - via Running with Scissors, stitching with Julie and Jane. ❤

Thanks for referencing this video. I am tempted to do this with my smalls. Yes, I've wondered about what to do with the many that are in my Sterlite storage box waiting for some brilliant inspiration. As someone who loves the Moda Charm Packs (5" squares from a line of fabric), I can see myself using the fabric as a backing. I haven't really done scrapbooks before, though it doesn't worry me. Just another way to spend crafting/maker money!!!!! Anyway, thanks for your videos and these great ideas.

Love how you scrapbook your work! I too love scrapbooking and anxious to try this with some of my finishes. I no longer have wall and shelf space. Have you ever removed any professionally framed pieces and added them to your scrapbook pages? I have many 30 year old ones stored that would be fun to add to a scrap book. Interestingly enough I gave many of my older framed pieces as gifts to family and friends. When they passed on their families returned them to me.

Hello! I just came across your channel and subscribed right away!!! Your stitching is beautiful and I absolutely love the idea of scrapbooking some finishes. I too am a scrapbooker though I haven’t done it in quite some time. My question is what is storage like for you with the scrapbooks? Once they’re full aren’t they quite bulky and take up space? TIA😊

I enjoyed watching your scrapbook video. I have started one too. I have a couple of questions . Do you wash your projects. I have found when I wash them I find it hard to make them square after. I follow the lines of the stitching and it still seems like the edges are cut crooked. Thank you
